Designed by Scott Tolleson with Screaming Sky Gallery, the next Nosellots plush, Sayjo Bean, will be sold for the first time at the San Diego Comic Con this July. And much like the Francis plush at Scott's booth at WonderCon, Sayjo Bean will have a special colorway exclusive to the event and, for a limited time, Screaming Sky Gallery's online shop. Check out Scott's description of Sajyo Bean to get a better feel for her character:
She seems like a little adult. But once you get to know her, her childish side appears. Sayjo loves her little brother Lyle, but she’s still the boss. She loves patterned carpeting, flowering trees and changing her eyewear. She is an expert at matching fabrics and you can tell she is extremely pleased with herself when she randomly jumps up and down from built up excitement. Plus, she knows all the best places to eat.
You can really see the innocent side of Sayjo in the plush's details, especially her shoes and socks combo and the hair ties. I, for one, can't wait to add this 11 and a half inch plush to my collection.
There hasn't been mention of Scott's location at SDCC or Sayjo's pricing (I am going to guess US$25; that is how much Francis was), but more news is sure to crop up as the weeks inch closer to the con.

Just a heads up, Squadt fans: the new Squadt fr0g and K11 Spot set is open for pre-order. Jamungo's latest release stands 6 inches tall and comes with a wetsuit, tanks, flippers, spear gun, sMP5, tanto knife, 2.0 articulated and "classic" arms, and a removable helmet. His K11 companion comes with a wetsuit with pouches, flippers and a removable helmet.
You can find the set open for pre-order now at designer toy retailers like myplasticheart and Rotofugi for US$115. Also teased in the e-mail were K11 BOOMER for GERM; Trouble Boys no.7 for Tomenosuke; an SDCC-exclusive GOHST for Rotofugi; an SDCC surprise with Scott Wilkowski; and the one that made me the most excited ... blind-boxed Misfortune Cats!
Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Live in the Los Angeles area and like designer toys? Then head on down to Kidrobot LA (7972 Melrose Ave.) for "They Call Me The Gentleman Ghost," a live Mega Munny painting session with J*RYU! The event takes place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific and will feature a chance to watch J*RYU work his magic painting a Mega Munny creation.
Also posted to Instagram recently was some of the sculpting work J*RYU has done ahead of the show and ... yep, it looks pretty impressive. Anyone thinking of checking this out?

Fonzo, the lovable vinyl bulldog from Freak Store, was only recently released into the wilds of the designer toy market last week as a painted figure from Gary Ham. He must have been a big hit (I certainly loved him) because he will soon be made available in a 6 inch DIY version. He will be purchasable to the world in just a few weeks. If that wasn't enough to get your blood pumping, there will also be custom Fonzo shows at a later date.
There hasn't been mention of price or edition size for the DIY Fonzo figures. But, these are certainly figures I'll be keeping my eyes on.
What are your impressions of Fonzo, good readers? Any interest in seeing other artists take a stab at customizing him or, perhaps, having a go yourselves?
