Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (shortened to Danmachi in Japanese) might have one of the most misleading titles in recent history. Sure, there are a lot of girls running around in this series, all with a bit of interest in main character Bell's many merits. But it implies that Bell is some sort of girl crazy guy that would rather hit on girls in a dungeon than fight monsters. Bell only has his sights set on one girl, but nobody wants Bell more than his resident deity Hestia.
Hestia's Nendoroid is a pretty perfect representation. By that I mean the poverty stricken goddess's assets are fully realized complete with her trademark blue ribbon. Interestingly the ribbon appears to be able to stretch some to accommodate all of her arm options. Speaking of arms, she comes with three pairs: arms at her sides, hands on her hips, or elbows bent with her hands in front of her. The last one is perfect for holding up her included croquette. As for expressions you can choose between her standard smile, a big triumphant grin, and the face she makes when things just don't go her way. Plus she comes with a sitting part to really alter the look of the figure.
Pre-orders opened today for ¥4,200 with release expected in January. Will this be the only Nendo for Danmachi? Probably not, I think there's a fair chance of Aiz Wallenstein getting one eventually. But like so many other Nendoroid series the girls might be left without their leading man.
