My Tiny Houses Mixed Media Mini Canvas Pictures
One of the projects from the Tinytopia & The Magic of Little Things online class being taught by Mary Jane Chadbourne at Artful Gathering that I took this summer was to make a mini mixed media tiny house canvas picture. Mine weren't done when I posted about the other mixed media Tinytopia houses I had made here so I thought you'd like to see them.
I, of course, couldn't just make 1 - I had to make three.
In total I made seventeen mixed media items from that class. The class called for making three different types of projects - a Tinytopia street village, fairy houses, and a tiny house canvas.
Given my new name is "lack of moderation, Linda" I had to make more. Looking at the number of items I made you'd have to say I loved that class. Wouldn't you agree?
Maleficent (and Stitch) spice up Funko's Fabrikations line
Okay, Funko, you got me. You've released a wide mix of characters in your Fabrikations line so far, including the likes of Greedo, Rocket Racoon, and Jack Skellington, but up until now I haven't thought, "I really want this one!"
The upcoming Maleficent (who, along with Stich, is currently available for pre-order) is adorable. While the overall design is great, it's that cutesy expression of disdain that really sells it. Funko has masterfully captured and conveyed her mean-spirited, condescending personality.
Maleficent and Stitch are both due out this October and will retail for around US$20 each.

here, kitty, kitty, kitty ears
I need a little escapism right about now. These long last weeks of summer are hard on a parent, aren’t they? Let’s all pretend we’re not parents for the afternoon, don a pair of Kitty Ears Hair Clips from Wunway, and ignore all those human things that are slowly driving us nuts. Alrighy? Good. Meow.
