While many fans greatly enjoyed the Wind Waker Nendoroid Link (double-reviewed), others wanted something in a slightly more traditional style. Their patience paid off earlier this year when a Majora's Mask version was announced at Winter WonFes earlier this year. and now they can get started with the real waiting game because pre-orders have officially opened!
Nendoroid Link features two interchangeable faces (smiling and shouting) and will include the Kokiri Sword, Hero's Shield, Red Potion and Bunny Hood. More importantly, he also comes with quite a few of the game's iconic masks, the most notable of which is a wearable version of the eponymous Majora's Mask!
His other accessories include smaller versions of the Goron, Zora, and Deku masks which he can hold in his hand. If that wasn't cool enough, you also get his fairy companion Tatl who can plug into a flight stand that attaches the base.
While the Majora's Mask Nendoroid Link would be perfect for Halloween, he's actually due out next January. He can be pre-ordered for around ¥4,167.

Nintendo America has announced on Twitter that the focus of the next Splatfest will be Autobots Vs. Decepticons! Splatfest is a feature in the WiiU ink-based shooter Splatoon where players pick a side in a Turf War event for special rewards. Following such clashes as Cats vs. Dogs, and Hot Dogs vs. Marshmallows, Splatoon players will have the opportunity to paint the town red - or purple - starting at midnight EST on August 28th.
