Noferin announces Jibibuts Aritst Collection
Over the last week or so on their Facebook page, Noferin have been releasing teasers of the artists in their upcoming Jibibuts Artist Series. The blind-boxed wood toy series will feature 12 artists painting Noferin's wooden Jibibuts toys with their own unique designs and styles. I also think this is the first time other artists have been featured on the Jibibuts line, though they've been a popular canvas for custom figures for quite some time.
The list includes Buff Monster, 64Colors, Martin Hsu, Anna Chambers, Nathan Jurevicius, Peskimo, Andrea Kang, Bubi Au Yeung, TADO, Squink!, Leo Hillier and of course, Noferin. More details on these will likely come, so stay tuned, but let us know if you dig any of these designs!

SuperFest 59: Go Nagai's Devilman and Mazinger Z
At Japan's SuperFest 59, there were quite a few toys themed to Go Nagai's two anime series, Devilman and Mazinger Z. The reason behind this was the 40th anniversary of both series. Mazinger Z was mainly represented with the titular mech in different visual styles (some in dynamic poses, others in a sort of chibi-fied form) along with a few other characters in the series.
Devilman seemed to have a wider variety of merchandise. There were larger statues of the series' characters as well a seriously disturbing-looking bust to hang on your wall. Non-toy items included a guitar, snowboard, and masks (for all your Devilman cosplay needs).
Check out the gallery to see all the photos of the toys! That Devilman bust haunts my nightmares...

Clayz MoeRo Matsuri has a little more to show!
And here we are with the second part of our MoeRo Matsuri coverage. Again, we have a mixture of old and new figures from Clayz with some pretty sweet ones lying in there.
Interestingly, some of the original resin kit designs were actually on sale at the event, which is something you don't often see. The original kit of the girl sitting on the spiral staircase is a stand out figure for myself but perhaps it's one of the other figures which catches your eyes.
With any luck, Clayz will be releasing the newer works in the near future. Some of the ones on display are pretty old (for figures at least) and date back to 2006~07! Maybe we'll see some re-releases in the near future too! Would you be interested in getting any of these if they were made available?
[many thanks to Tokyo Hunter for the photos]
