I'm not sure how many of you are old enough to remember this, but once upon a time Halloween was a children's holiday devoted to things like trick or treating (and, before that, there was some Pagan stuff going on). However, more recently, it's become a holiday celebrating ladies showing off a little (or lot of) extra skin.
While Conal Cochran would no doubt disapprove (perhaps it's time for a Halloween 3 remake?), it's been something of a hit with the guys. Hollywood Collectibles Group seeks to capitalize on this trend with its "Trick or Treat Hot Chicks Squad" line of statues which features costumed babes with interchangeable masked heads.
It's actually a half-decent mix of costumes with a scantily-dressed vampire, a scantily-dressed Frankentein, a scantily-dressed wolf girl, a scantily-dressed mummy/psycho clown, and a scantily-dressed skeleton. While HCG plans to make all of these, the company is letting fans pick which design they want to see first. (And no, "none" isn't an option!)
I'm assuming that the designs will probably look a lot better in statue form since the 3D renderings seem a little iffy. I think my personal favorite would be either "Wolfy" for that dynamic werewolf-hunting pose or "Skelly" for the purple mohawk. I'm mostly curious to see if this line will have a lot of appeal. Best of luck to them, though.
