The host of the late night show CONAN that airs on TBS announced that he would be hosting shows live from SDCC beginning July 8th.
As part of bringing his show to the convention, Funko is producing a limited run of Conan O'Brien Funko Pop! figures and offering them up during the event. The four figures include Conan himself, Batman Conan, Zombie Conan, and Conan's Monster. Each of the little guys is numbered and is articulated in the Funko Pop! style.
The figures will be part of a giveaway and available at the convention. Visit the official webpage for more details and watch CONAN weeknights at 11pm on TBS.
Junko Mizuno's newest creation for Kidrobot is a twist on an older, smaller classic. The 8-inch Violet Soda Lady and Berry Chocolate Lady Dunnys might look similar, because the base sculpt is essentially the Purple Soda Girl Dunny from Dunny Series 2012. Of course, for 2015, there's differences in the design and some new detailing work, like the heart on the Dunny's chest and actual sculpted flowers in the curls of her hair, so it's not just a simple rehash.
Both Dunnys are releasing in July; Violet Soda LAdy will go to retail for US$100, while Berry Chocolate Lady heads to San Diego Comic Con as a convention exclusive for Kidrobot (booth #5645). Junko Mizuno herself will be at the booth for two signing sessions: July 9 and 10 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. both days.

The official SDCC 2015 site has published details on the Transformers panels they will be holding at SDCC this year. Get ready for Transformers panels that will be held on Thursday July 9th including Generations at 11am and Robots in Disguise 2015 at 3pm. While most of us had eyes only for Botcon, user z75sales on Facebook was posting galleries of the production sample original G2 Protectobots, found in the collection of a deceased Hasbro employee. As of this posting Hot Spot is the most recent, and this may be the best look you'll ever get at an original G2 Hot Spot, which is actually quite sad.
