The Kickstarter campaign for Tsume x Aleksi Briclot: Azzar'Hi Worlds & Wonders HQS statue (which launched back in April) is finally nearing the end. With only 3 days left, the campaign still needs to raise a little under a US$1,000 at the time of writing to reach its $54,367 goal.
As you may well recall, Azzar'Hi is Aleksi Briclot's original creation and that the artist teamed up with Tsume Art to turn the artwork into a gorgeous sculpture. It's an absolutely stunning statue with a vibrant design and looks so much better in 3D rather than as a 2D drawing.
If you want to get your hands on one, there's still time since the Kickstarter campaign runs for another 3 days. Pledging US$272 will get you an unpainted garage kit while US$434 buys a fully painted statue. There are some lower tiers as well for those who want some artwork or a t-shirt instead.

Good Smile Company and Max Factory have announced a new brand dedicated to male figures called Orange Rouge (after the colors of their respective logos). The idea is basically the same as Altair is to Alter, except the GSC/Max Factory endeavor will include Nendoroids (and presumably figmas) as well as scale figures.
Kahotan's blog has all the details for this announcement, including which figures are scheduled for the lineup. The focus early on is Touken Ranbu, a Nitroplus game featuring famous Japanese swords personified as bishounen. Three 1/8-scale and two Nendoroids are planned for that property. In addition, a couple of Haikyuu!! Nendoroids are planned, and one from Dramatical Murder. I'd bet that some figmas are in the works though there's no official news yet.
The Tomopop staff had some mixed reactions to this news, and I'm personally not really into bishounen figures. The overall feeling is that this is stuff GSC already does, just unified under one label now. Which, from a consumer perspective, is rather convenient I guess.
