It's A Boy & Girl Spool - Betty & Bobby Baby Shower Favor Pattern & E-Pattern
If you're looking for some of the most adorable baby shower favors to make then we've got a fabulous e-pattern for you.
I just love baby showers that are cheery and set the mood for a wonderful, happy occasion. That can't help but bring a smile to every one's face.
I also like baby shower favors that are easy to make and our baby shower favor patterns are just that.
"It's A Boy & Girl Spool!" is a pattern to make two 5" baby shower favors - a girl and a boy. The girl is named Betty and the boy is named Bobby and each baby head sits happily atop a painted wooden spool. Both Betty & Bobby have enormous heads and the most inviting and happy smiles you'd ever want to see.
Each head is embroidered with black DMC Embroidery floss. The enormous, smiling mouths are outlined with black floss and painted with white acrylic paint. The eyes are outlined with black floss and painted with white and black watercolor pencils. Betty's cheeks are blushed and shaded with pink and peach colored pencils. Bobby's cheeks are blushed and shaded with rust and peach colored pencils.
Betty's cheeks and nose are dotted with brown freckles and her eyes and nose are shaded with a light brown and then gold watercolor pencil. Bobby's cheeks are indented and his eyes and nose are shaded with a gray and then white watercolor pencil.
Betty's head sits atop a pink wooden spool with a white crochet collar and the words "It's A Girl!" painted on the front. She has brown curly hair and is wearing a knit and gathered cap with a folded edge.
Bobby's head sits atop a blue wooden spool with a kerchief tied around the top and the words "It's A Boy!" painted on the front. He has red straight mohair hair and is wearing a knit and gathered cap with a folded edge.
Betty and Bobby are two easy and adorable baby shower favors to make.

My Linda's How-Do-I Series? How To Make A Glass Container Vase Floral Arrangement Free E-Book
You never know when you're going to use something you saved years ago or something someone gave you years ago that they thought you might use for a floral arrangement. Such was the case with a green glass container I had been given so many years ago I can't remember where I got it or who gave it to me.
I finally decided to use it for a Spring floral arrangement I made a couple of years ago. I love bringing it out every Spring and thought you might enjoy a few free e-book on how I created my "Glass Container Vase Floral Arrangement" so you could make one of your own.

2) Add the green Spanish moss to cover the top of the green florist foam within the green glass container.
