Linda’s How-Do-I Series? How To Make A Roses In Ceramic Pot Floral Arrangement Free E-Book

I'm a huge fan of bright and cheery silk floral arrangements and love decorating my house with them all year long.  They never decay and look just as good as the day you created them 20 years later. What's not to love about that?

So, I thought you might enjoy a few free e-books on how I created some of my Spring silk floral arrangements.

My instructions on "How To Make A Roses In Ceramic Pot Floral Arrangement" of your own are shown below:

Supplies Needed For The Flower Arrangement

Ceramic Pot - 14” Square Circumference , 4” Tall, 3/12” Deep, 3 1/2” Wide
Green Spanish Mos
Silk Floral Roses With Leaves
2” Wired Ribbon - 3 Feet
Green Florist Foam
Glue Sticks and Glue Gun

Instructions:

1)  Cut a piece of the green florist foam to fit inside the square ceramic vase.  The top of the green florist foam should be 1” down from the top lip of the square ceramic vase

2)  Lightly glue the green Spanish moss  to cover the top of the green florist foam within the square ceramic base.

3)  You want the roses in your cluster of roses to be aligned side by side and arranged by color in a pleasing manner.  Starting in the center of the vase insert one of the roses into the foam.  Continue adding the roses side by side until you have inserted all 20 of the roses.

4)  Wrap the 2” wired ribbon around the top of the square ceramic vase and knot tightly in front.  Tie a bow after the knot and then trim the ends, if necessary.  Adjust the wired ribbon if necessary.  Glue the back and sides of the wired ribbon to the square ceramic pot with hot glue, if necessary.

5)  Your rose flower arrangement should look like the picture above.

Congratulations! Your roses in a ceramic vase flower arrangement is done.

I also created a .PDF "Linda’s How-Do-I Series?  How To Make A Roses In Ceramic Pot Floral Arrangement" free e-book for this as well.

Hey, you guuuuyyyyys: Goonies plushes are here

Do you happen to need some Goonies in your life? Well, if you're OK with plush, good news! The folks at Gordos Plush have the license and designs for a series of 8-inch Goonies plushes! The line launches this weekend (June 4-7) at the Goonies 30th Anniversary Celebration in Astoria, Oregon with Chunk and Sloth, but there's also a Kickstarter underway for plushes of Data and One-Eyed Willy. The Kickstarter goal is US$25,000 and runs until June 25.

Design-wise, I like them quite a bit; they have a more rotund, pillow-like appearance but still maintain enough characteristics that you know which Goonie is which at first glance. Oh, and it's pretty awesome that they've actually chosen One-Eyed Willy as part of the first quartet; the dude doesn't get enough love for how vital his role in the movie was as the MacGuffin.

Sloth and Chunk are priced at US$25 each, while Data and One-Eyed Willy are Kickstarter-only exclusives at this point for the US$30 pledge level. You can also get both of them on Kickstarter for US$55 or all four for US$110. There's also a stretch goal at US$50,000 for a "mystery character" that's very clearly Ma Fratelli.

G.I.Joe Figure Sub 4.0 - G.I.Joe Pathfinder Revealed

Share a drink with Pikachu thanks to these PUTITTO figures

The fine folks that brought us a number of familiar characters hanging off our cups from Funassyi to Disney to Madoka Magica is at it again. This time around Kitan Club is ready to electrify your favorite drinks with their Pokemon Pikachu PUTITTO figures. Everyone's favorite electric mouse is coming in six undeniably cute styles: Hanging by his hands, flopped over the rim, sleeping on the rim, hanging from his tail, balancing on the rim with poke balls on his head, and a sixth secret figure.

They're blind boxed so if you want a specific style it may be easier to just buy a set. They're due in June for ¥300 each but they're proving to be elusive at online stores. AmiAmi does get a large number of Kitan Club figures so I'd keep a close eye on them.
