Today, Tuesday, May 26, just barely three weeks from the opening events of Botcon 2015, preregistration has finally gone online! ...only to be shut back down minutes later. It appears that issues relating to the strain on the server has forced the system to be disabled until their hosting provider can take steps to improve performance. We've included a screengrab of the message currently being displayed. And in the meantime we're just hoping that reactivation at least waits until after most people's workdays are over with!

As of just after 5pm Central Time today, a message posted on the Botcon Official Facebook page has confirmed that all attempts at resuscitating the pre-registration system have failed. While a very, very few individuals reportedly managed to complete registration, for most people a series of escalating failures prevented completion of the process, and they will have to wait and try again tomorrow when Fun Publications hopes that all the external factors at work have been dealt with adequately.
