Kickstart it up! Tsume teams up with Aleksi Briclot for original Azzar'Hi Worlds & Wonders HQS statue
Tsume has teamed with artist Aleksi Briclot to bring one of his original illustrations to life (a difficult to describe lava snake warrior goddess?). The statue, which currently has a Kickstarter going, will be limited to 250 pieces while the unpainted garage kit will be limited to 50 pieces.
This stunning statue is billed as standing 50-cm tall and will be numbered & hand painted. While Azzar'Hi is an original creation, apparently Aleksi has fleshed out some backstory for the character as well as a universe so it may be interesting to see how that develops.
The campaign, which will run around June 26th, seeks to raise €50,000 and is already €7,505 towards that goal. A €250 pledge will get you the garage kit or you could pledge €400 for a fully painted statue (and there are lower tiers where pledges are rewarded with art as well as high tiers involving a trip).

C2E2 2015: Enterbay
Enterbay is a lot like Hot Toys, focusing on realistic 1/6-scale poseable figures. They've done a few movie characters, but at C2E2 focus quite a lot on NBA players. Maybe it's pandering to Chicago's collective 90s nostalgia, or maybe it's just because Michael Jordan is a global icon, but his figure always gets the most prominent display.
In terms of movie figures they had a nice battle damaged T-800 curiously displayed next to Mr. Bean. Robocop makes a return from last year as well.
As for sports figures, we got a good if fairly random mix of big names from the past and the present. Blake Griffin, Kevin Durant, Allen Iverson, Dennis Rodman (the matching Kim Jong-un figure has yet to be confirmed), and Jeremy Lin are all new faces. They also had a Kobe Bryant with locker set.
A bunch of Michael Jordan variants showed up, including one with the sixth championship t-shirt and another in the worst All-Star uniform of all time. The Bulls-centric display was rounded out with Chicago's current star Derrick Rose.
Being a Bulls fan myself, I'm really, really temped to get one of these. But there are so many choices... do I go for MJ? Rodman? Rose? I really love them all...
