Albert Art's newest Qees are Double Trouble
From Albert Art, we have photos of two of his recent custom Qees, the team known either as Double Trouble or A & A. Based on the style of his Letterman the Hound, the Pigee and QeeBear customs look ready for a fight or two. Regular tough guys, aren't they?
These two are both one-offs recently on display at Vancouver Comic Con, but I'm not sure if they have a new home or if Albert will be selling them. In any case, let us know what you think in the comments!

Soul Hackers Gets a 3DS Remake
Atlus like to do remakes for portables. Persona, Persona 2, and Persona 3 have all been remade or ported to the PSP. Now Soul Hackers is getting a remake for the 3DS. Hopefully this also gets an English version since the original (which came out for Saturn and PS1) never got localized.

Fisher-Price Imaginext Mega T-Rex (W1594)
Fisher-Price Imaginext Mega T-Rex (W1594)
Fisher-Price Imaginext Mega T-Rex (W1594) - The Fisher-Price Imaginext Mega T-Rex will transport your child to a fantastical world of dinosaurs, robots, and soldiers. Designed for ages three and up, this motorized toy features enough interactive parts, sound effects, and snap-on accessories to keep your child occupied for hours. Standout features include two firing cannons, an opening cockpit, and a push button that makes T-Rex burst into action.New Take on Classic Toy: Standing over 1 foot in height, Imaginext Mega T-Rex adds a new, futuristic dimension to classic dinosaur play. This is no ordinary dinosaur toy: Mega T-Rex is equipped with robotic armor, including tech arms and a protective helmet. He even has two blasters mounted on his armor, which can fire projectiles during the heat of battle. T-Rex also comes with a miniature soldier figure who can "take control" of T-Rex by sitting in his cockpit. If your kids are in the mood for a more traditional dinosaur game, they can simply snap off Mega T-Rex's armor. Even without his high-tech accessories, the dinosaur can provide plenty of imaginative thrills. T-Rex features everything you'd expect from a dinosaur toy, from his scaly hide to his fearsome teeth and snapping jaws.
Exciting Motorized Action and Sound Effects: Mega T-Rex is partially motorized and features several moving parts. With a touch of the button on his back, T-Rex comes to life: he throws his head back, opens his jaws, and lets out a ferocious roar. His arms and tail are also animated. One unfortunate downside is that the motor is quite loud and can muffle T-Rex's roaring sound. However, the end results are worth a little extra noise pollution: T-Rex's movements are very convincing and are sure to captivate the imaginations of young children.
Multiple Features Encourage Imagination: Mega T-Rex is designed to spark your child's natural creativity and imagination. The toy's motorized parts, sounds, and accessories give kids plenty of imaginative options. Younger kids will be charmed by the dinosaur's stylized, cartoonish look and his bright colors. Older children will love pitting Mega T-Rex against their other toys in play battles. They might imagine T-Rex stomping over a prehistoric landscape--or they can snap on his armor and be transported to an exciting futuristic universe where dinosaurs still rule.
What's in the Box: Mega T-Rex, helmet, rear control pod, two projectile launchers, tech arms, action figure, and four AA batteries.

The Emilia Couture Contest
The rules were:
"Take a doll box, tie in your favourite doll and fashion to build your dream giftset. Just pile in everything you ever wanted and feel free to use Photoshop or other means to enhance the looks and colours of your dream doll set. The doll, box and fashions can be any size or brand....The doll must be photographed in the box wearing one of the outfits..."
The grand prize was this fabulous "Ants" outfit.
All entries were posted to a special group Emilia created on Flickr.
The winner of the contest was Micheal Jarvis aka monkeyhaircutter with this amazing gift set consisting of two men dressed for their wedding. The accessories included a three-tier wedding cake, a bottle of champagne and two fluted glasses, a bottle of liquor and luggage. Their clothes included lounge and pool wear in addition to their formal wear. The case is from an earlier Fashion Royalty gift set. Everything is arranged in a appealing way. If Integrity produced a set like this it would fly off the shelves faster than a New York minute!
First runner-up was Laura/LA with this wonderful gift set consisting of a dressed Agnes, two additional fashions and a furnished wall! WOW! I love the way Laura color coordinated the fashions by using red and black throughout. The fireplace, framed paintings and crystal chandelier could make a backdrop for photography. What a great idea for a gift set.
Second runner-up was Dollster for a stunningly arranged grouping of HJ Couture fashions and dressed doll in lacy lingerie. She is presented in one of the "Atelier" gift set boxes that we don't see anymore. Wonderful!
A special "Out-of-the-box-thinking" award was presented to OddMod for her very clever and amusing Glinda-The Jeti Hunter gift set. This really cracked me up. It was adorable and so very creative.
I felt joy and pleasure looking at the entries because they show how people are playing with and loving their dolls. This was very special!
I was planning to post only the winning entries but I feel like they are all winners. The dolls and fashions are gorgeous. I don't know how Emilia was able to whittle down her choices. I would love to have each and every one of these sets for my own as I bet other collectors would, too.

Under the Radar: Nevercrew's Sluggy P
From the lovely country of Switzerland comes the duo of Christian Rebecchi and Pablo Togni, who go by the name of Nevercrew. Also from Switzerland and Nevercrew is their latest resin piece, a little pigeon fellow named Sluggy P. Balancing a donut on his head, Sluggy looks like he's feeling a little down, perhaps from his city life, and the current colorway is a Superfrosted one, featuring a flocked white surface and hand painting on the non-flocked parts. The two variants are one with a pink donut and one with a blue donut, each limited to only 50 pieces.
Unfortunately, Sluggy P is currently sold out, but there's always hope of another colorway in the future. Or perhaps another release altogether from Nevercrew. We'll keep an eye out for news in the future from these two!
