Funko has announced that a "Metallic" Hulk and "Distressed" Astro Boy will be joining its Hikari Premium line. Both are currently available for pre-order.
This is Hulk's first release in the line (we also saw Iron Man at Toy Fair) and, oddly enough, it's an Entertainment Earth exclusive. It seems like a decent enough deco for a pretty cool mold. The only drawback is the expense since, as a premium, it will run you US$80. He's slated to release in June.
The other new release is a "Distressed" Astro Boy. I've yet to see a bad Hikari Astro Boy (or a bad use of the "Distressed" deco, for that matter!). Somehow this seems to be the one mold that Funko can do no wrong with although I assume that the company will miss the mark eventually. He's also listed for US$80 (because he's a premium) and is slated to release in May.

Listings on Hasbro's website have confirmed the names and US pricing details of the upcoming "Cyber" series of simplified figures. The series previously known as "Cyber 7" is the Cyber Battalion series, and will offer simple Voyager-scaled (7") figures for $14.99. TakaraTomy designer Hisashi Yuki has shared a couple more interesting images from Car Robots, the series that would be known as the first Robots In Disguise in the US. First up is more rough preliminary design work for Super Fire Convoy, AKA Optimus Prime.
