Alter's Erica Hartmann takes flight in these new scans screenshot

Alter's next 1/8-scale Strike Witches figure will apparently be Strike Witches 2's Erica Hartmann, as her prototype has appeared among the scans running free on the Internet! At first, Erica seems to be your pretty standard Strike Witches release from Alter: that is to say, well sculpted with a lively little flying pose.

The best part, though, has to be the alternate arms and face Erica seems to be coming with. I mean, just look at her in the little hat, winking, with one hand on her gun and the other giving a salute. I'm not even a bit Strike Witches fan at all and I like that!

There are few things worse than dedicating hours of your life, attention, and finger dexterity to a video game only to get to the end and be enormously disappointed.  It feels like being robbed of sweet victory, and it amounts to having your built-up expectations shattered.     Be forewarned that the following list is a compilation of plot-spoilers, but also know that these plots were spoiled long before this list was ever written. Metal of Honor: Allied Assault     After ...

The soft-opening of Transformers: The Ride at Universal Studios Hollywood has commenced - full opening is May 25, 2012 - and two videos from SoCalAdventures have been posted from the ride. The first one is experiencing the queue system, which, as described yesterday, is engaging and never leaves you bored. Walk-through of the queueThe second video is the gem, though, which is a front seat view of the entire ride. Obviously, the ride is in 3D, so you are missing that experience, but if you want to be spoiled

This is Bandai's plamo Silver Crow, and it looks amazing screenshot

While we still don't know if figma Silver Crow from AccelWorld will have his wings, Bandai's just fired the first shots with its Silver Crow plamo kit. Spotted in this month's scans, Bandai's Silver Crow is indeed a plamo kit and not an S.H.Figuarts figure. However, I can see why it'd be easy to think that: the kit will come with a stand, optional hand parts and of course, those giant silver wings.

The kit will be available in July, and for AccelWorld fans, this definitely looks like a buy. What do you think of this kit, Tomopop readers, and are any of you interested now, more than the previous figma?

  • 04/24/12--06:00: gotta get app: Pepi Bath
  • I looove finding a new app that Birdie likes as much as I do. Because let’s face it, at 3 1/4 years old, she is developing her own taste – and it doesn’t always have my particular aesthetic or educational goals. I know, how annoyingly independent of her, right? Pepi Bath, by Pepi Play, focuses on [...]

The character of the Sorceress/Goddess was created by Mattel for the original Masters of the Universe line. However, as many fans know, that original Sorceress was referred to as “The Goddess” and featured a design that was ultimately used for Teela instead. When the Sorceress was introduced as a character in the 1980s Filmation cartoon [...]

Our first tease of ThreeA's Halo figures is Carter-A259 screenshot

It has been a long, long time since ThreeA Toys announced they would be making figures from the Halo franchise, and later that they'd be debuting at ReVenture, which starts this weekend in Hong Kong. So, of course, we get our first sneak peek ... three days before the event opens up.

But we shouldn't really complain, because that sneak peek is of the upcoming 1/6-scale Carter-A259 (a.k.a. Noble One) from Halo: Reach. As you can see, it looks pretty much like the in-game model, almost like something we'd see from Hot Toys. More details are likely to be revealed at ReVenture this upcoming weekend and next week, so stay tuned!
