The pre-order window may be closed and the actual items aren't expected until the end of the year but that hasn't stopped Volks from adding a little something to their new Dollfie Dream releases (to be)!
Back at the end of last year, Volks and Bandai ran a survey on the Macross page asking fans which costumes they wanted to see made for the Dollfie Dreams. There were over thirty costumes on display and fans were asked to choose one for Sheryl and one for Ranka. And now that the votes have all been tallied, they have officially announced the costumes that will be made. But you already knew that by looking at the banner above, right?
That's right, Ranka will be getting the Raspberry candy costume while Sheryl is getting her most famous one, the Stage uniform costume from the first concert. I can't say that the choice for Sheryl is my preferred one but the fans have spoken. No info as to when they will be released and they may be released after the dolls later this year but they are coming! Volks also showed off the other costumes which made the top 3 list and I think I would have preferred either or the other Sheryl costumes, especially the bride costume.
Well, anybody who pre-ordered the dolls going for these new additions?

Newly added to Amazon's listing of the hardcover of the second volume of the IDW Collection: Phase Two is an image of the cover, featuring art by Sarah Stone. The cover depicts Bumblebee as he appeared through the first year-and-change of Robots in Disguise, and is seen here with his paint wearing away, which isn't a bad analogy for how the "first season's" events progressively wore him down. It looks like Carnifex, the figure based on Overlord - and in particular elements of IDW's interpretation of Overlord - may be the new focus project for Mastermind Creations. Following on the rapid succession of reveals, the latest is a full body lineart-style design concept giving us a solid idea of the visual style and details to be expected as this toy proceeds towards manufacture. Of note, two heads are shown, one with distinct damage perhaps indicating option parts or other means of customizing it for display. Keep reading to check it out!
