Kotobukiya have revealed two new Star Wars Droids for their Droids line – R3-A2 and K-3PO ARTFX+ Statues. These statues will be available at the Kotobukiya booth at Star Wars Celebration 2015. If you cannot attend the event you can always pre-order the statues here starting in April. Firstly I have to say these statues […]

What with figma Link and Nendoroid Toon Link popping up in Good Smile's portfolio over the past few years, it was surely only a matter of time before a full fat scale version of the legendary hero broke ground. And here he is, hot off the presses from Winter Wonder Festival. Made under the Max Factory brand and seemingly based on his Skyward Sword look, it's definitely a dramatic looking pose, although something doesn't quite click about it for me. Still, this is pretty big news. Are you excited readers?

Everybody agrees that magnificent klutz Mako Mankanshoku was the breakout star of Kill la Kill, but now she's getting a bunch of attitude and a whole lot more badass. Good Smile Company revealed that Mako will be returning for a second Nendoroid, this time of her Two-Star Fight Club uniform. This gives our favourite schoolgirl a sneer, a sweet coat and a bunch of weapons to hurl at her enemies and OH GOD IT'S TOO ADORABLE. More details as we get them.

It may not be time to duel yet because Max Factory's figma Yugi (Yu-Gi-Oh!) appeared in unpainted form at Winter WonFes 2015.
The figma is rocking his Yami Yugi appearance, meaning that Atem is in the midst of either a duel or shadow game. The prototype looks good and I hope to see additional duelists covered in the line (although, in all honestly, I'm a little surprised that they didn't *start* with Téa Gardner / Anzu or Mai since the line has usually been female-heavy).

While Saber variants greatly outnumber all other figma entries from the Fate series, Max Factory is apparently still making other characters. Most recently this has come in the form of a painted figma Rin Tohsaka based on an appearance from Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works which was on display at Winter WonFes.
Fans will recall that Rin was Archer's master during the Fifth Holy Grail War. More importantly, it's a reminder that I *still* need to check out this new iteration of Fate/stay night. Not that I'd ever let something as trifling as not seeing an anime interfere with picking up a figure, mind you.
I love the look of this one and prefer it over Rin's original figma (which I missed buying). Expect to see additional (and hopefully better) images later today.

GSC's Nendoroid Storm Trooper was fully on display and in painted form at Winter WonFes. The figure was first announced on the Summer 2014 WonFes wall and had appeared my Highlight Reel for that month.
The figure (full image in gallery) easily lives up to expectations. While it would make an awesome Nendoroid army-builder, odds are that I'll probably skip picking one up since I'm trying to stay away from the Nendoroid line (there are, after all, only so many things you can buy!). However, I look forward to seeing it displayed with the Nendoroid Darth Vader in an array of photos in the future.
Now, if GSC did a Nendoroid Boba Fett... or a Nendoroid Bossk... or a Nendoroid Dengar... (I can't imagine how messed up a Nendoroid IG-88 might look.)
