Here's a look at Warrior Class Bumblebee from the new Transformers Robots In Disguise line. This is a very nice figure. The detail, mold and transformation are all surprisingly good! An employee of a Canadian Toys R Us store has posted images of the text-based inventory screens containing information for the heavily rumored Combiner Wars Devastator. This is our first real verification of what has so far been the subject of second and third hand information with nothing to substantiate it. While its exact nature is still up for speculation, we can now be well assured this is a product Hasbro is soliciting to retailers, which means we should get a great big look at it come Toy Fair about one month from now. Recolors of the 2010 igear/MGT Delicate Warrior. Being sold loose, and for only $35 each plus shipping, loose, no box. Not bad considering the pink one sold for like $120-140! Read on to see the images of the robot and alternate modes.
The Transformers Facebook page has updated tonight with a post about Year of The Goat Optimus Prime. Along with declaring it means he's the Greatest Of All Time (GOAT, you see), they also announced that the toy would be coming to "specialty retailers" this Spring. While the deco is rather unusual, the underlying Laser Optimus Prime toy is excellent. The only worry is that with the Insecticon three pack leading the way, it may be quite expensive by the time it gets here!
TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki is back again with new looks at Masterpiece Star Saber, today demonstrating the range of motion of the arm joints. Besides an expected full 360 degrees of rotation at the shoulders, we also get to see the shoulders swing forward to let the arms cross in front of the body. They're impeded some by the bulk of the forearms, but have a respectable freedom of movement. Click though and check it out! Updated! with leg articulation!
