A new website has launched dedicated to custom LEGO Minifigures called, well, Minifigures. Minifigures prides itself on the fact they don’t use stickers or vinyl decals and all of their designs stay true to the LEGO Minifigure style guide.
Minifigures plan to launch at least one new figure a week by the end of January 2015, starting with Michael Jackson and Chuck Norris to go along with their line up of Charlie Chaplin, E.T., Stan Lee, Bruce Banner, Barack Obama, and many others. Revoltech Yoko is back, now in a sailor uniform
It's been quite some time since Gurren Lagann had figure news. Revoltechs were great in the early run of the series and Yoko helped to usher in the Fraulein line. Being that the character was popular over several releases and re-releases, it's no wonder why there's yet another addition to the Yoko masses. However, this time will be a much more limited affair.
The new Revoltech Yoko, now draped in a sailor uniform, will be packaged with the June edition of Hero's Comics. As to the reason for the outfit, it's from the running Gurren Lagann spin-off comic, which is set in modern-day Japan. Concerning the figure, it's exactly the same as the first Yoko, though no word as to what accessories will come with this release.
Odds are you'll be needed a proxy of some sort, though you may get lucky and be able order directly from Amazon Japan. The June issue of Hero's Comics will be released on June 5th and cost you ¥4,298.
