Who you gonna call? Maybe the Ghoatbusters
Shapeways user TrentTroop has put together something that's caught my Goat Simulator and Ghostbusters loving heart: the Ghoatbusters, four spectral exterminators who also happen to be goats. The four even have goat-themed names -- Bleater, Winshorn, Bray and Angon -- and stand about 2.5 inches high. Because they're on Shapeways, they are made-to-order and are available in both a colored sandstone version and an unpainted plastic version, with several color options available. And of course, they come with thr requisite backpacks and Ghoat-hunting meters.
The quartet is available for US$50 on Shapeways as a set of four in sandstone; otherwise, they're about US$16.50 each for the individual sandstone figures and US$17.50 to US$23 for the unpainted plastic versions. For more of Trent's work, check out his Shapeways shop.

Borg Pony plush wants you to join the herd
This highly detailed and exquisitely cuddly Borg Pony was created by EquestriaPlush, master creator of handmade equine plushies. The quality and attention to detail on all of her ponies is remarkable, but this one takes the cake. Made from minky and embroidered with care, you can really see the countless hours that I'm sure went into this piece.
The type of person who would appreciate a Star Trek/My Little Pony mashup is a rare breed, but thankfully that person exists and so does this pony. I can't wait to see what she creates in 2015. Klingon Pony, anyone?
