A Trio Of Adorable Mixed Media Collage Shelf Sitter Santa's
Three of the mixed media Victorian collage and paper-clay shelf sitter art dolls I made recently were a trio of Santa's that I named Nick, Nicholas, and Saint Nick.
Nick - 4 1/2" x 5" x 3/4" Handmade Mixed Media Victorian Collage Santa Shelf Sitter Doll
What would Christmas be like without an adorable Santa decoration? So, of course, when I was deciding what types of mixed media collage shelf sitters I wanted to make recently I had to include Santa's. So I made a trio of Santa's that I named Nick, Nicholas, and Saint Nick.
Nick is a 4 1/2" x 5" x 3/4" mixed media Victorian Santa wood doll with a paper face, raw mohair eyebrows, mustache, and beard. His sides and back are sponge painted and his outfit is a multi-layer embellished paper collage with paper center band. His paper collage hat is embellished with white fur and sparkly pom-pom. A combination red and green crinkly scarf is wrapped around his neck.

Today's subjects: RID2015's 3-step Bumblebee and Grimlock, which he identifies as "Hyperchange Heroes." Catchier than "3-step changers," definitely.
