Nintendo says some Amiibos will only get one release
Have you noticed some Amiibos are starting to get harder to find than others? That's all according to plan says Nintendo. While it's not unusual for figure lines to have uneven case ratios in order to make sure there's an abundance of more popular characters, Nintendo seems to be taking it a little further. In a report from Destructoid it's been revealed that some Amiibos will only get a single shipment and once they're gone they're gone for good.
We will aim for certain amiibo to always be available. These will be for our most popular characters like Mario and Link. Due to shelf space constraints, other figures likely will not return to the market once they have sold through their initial shipment.
Fans are noticing that of the 12 figures in the initial release, three particular figures have become extremely rare: Marth, the Wii Fit Trainer, and the Animal Crossing Villager. Chances are if you can't find these in stores now you never will.

SyFy officially confirmed last night it would be developing a prequel series based on Superman, with David S. Goyer (Man of Steel, Nolan’s Batman series) and Ian Goldberg (Once Upon a Time) writing the pilot.
"Years before the Superman legend we know, the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This series follows The Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known."
Smallville already exists, so it looks like SyFy is taking a bigger step back by giving folks a glimpse at Krypton. DC shows are definitely a trend that won’t seem to die down soon.
