Honda is using Hasbro characters for their new Civic television commercial - and yes, that's Hollywood Jem from Integrity Toys in there. G.I. Joe makes a guest appearance in the end. Great use of stop motion animation on dolls here.

Another crowd source exclusive is this set of Head Shots. According to Play With This Too, this deco of the toys will be available exvlusively during their February crowd funding. The colors for Skull-FCKR were intended to go with the Bitemark body, allowing people to combine the two together. I'm also including a photo-edit of the head on the Bitemark body.

Planet Iacon has posted new images of the first wave of Combiner Wars Generations figures in-package! The Voyager assortment includes Aerialbot leader Silverbolt and Optimus Prime, and the Deluxes include Aerialbots Firefly, Skydive and Alpha Bravo(the new kid)... and Stunticon Dragstrip. It also looks like, despite an impending $2 price hike, comics are no longer included with Deluxe figures. On the upside, that Voyager Optimus Prime looks a bit better in his final production colors. The New York Times' Dealbook reports that Hasbro has ended talks with Dreamworks about the possibility of acquiring the company. The big kicker is said to have been a 5% drop in Hasbro's stock price when the acquisition rumor went public - significant because Hasbro was seeking to pay a combination of cash and company stock for the studio. Also, as some predicted, Disney seems not to have taken kindly to the idea of Hasbro buying their biggest animated competitor. Keep reading for more details!
