Designer Con 2014: Tasha Zimich has a beautiful customized Camilla d'Errico figure
If you're headed to Designer Con this weekend, maybe stop by Canadian-based artist Tasha Zimich's booth (#911). Among other things she'll be showing off a one-of-a-kind customized statue based on Camilla d'Errico's No Ordinary Love figure.
According to Tasha herself, this figure has been repainted to match the color scheme of d'Errico's "Aida" painting; the normal colorway has a marine theme. She calls this colorway "Attempted Murder."
I've loved all of d'Errico's work that I've seen so far, and this custom from Zimich is pretty awesome in its own right. If you're interested, check out more on Tasha's official site!

They’re like a designer’s ideal way to communicate. But I’d never really thought about what kids might think of them. I guess I assumed […]
