Eva Racing Nendoroids kick off with Rei Ayanami
Aside from a custom creation a while back, the Evangelion pilots have never been made into Nendoroid form. It looks like that will change soon with the Evangelion Racing Nendoroids on the horizon.
Kahotan has a preview up of Nendoroid Rei Ayanami in her race queen outfit. It takes design queues from her usual plug suit, but is quite a bit more revealing. As far as accessories go, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot: you'll have an alternate smiling (barely) face, and two parasols. Rei will be a Good Smile Online Shop exclusive, and will go up for pre-order on Monday.

A big Hikari Groot may be big news
The Guardians of the Galaxy have finally made their way into Funko's Hikari line with a Premium (ie, over-sized) Groot. At 10-inches tall, he's kind of a big deal. Plus, with a sizable 5,000 piece run, there should be enough Groot to go around for everybody.
Groot appears in what I can only assume is a standard deco (since he lacks a moniker). It's a neat enough design with a good mix of color that should please fans. I'm just wondering if we might eventually see a Hikari Mini line with a Rocket Raccoon to go next to him (or a standard-sized Rocket Racoon, for that matter).
Hikari Groot can be pre-ordered for US$80 and is slated for a January release. As always, you can win one through Funko's Facebook contest. This week's question is, " What would you do to win a Groot Hikari Premium figure?!" (Maybe ask nicely?)

MasterShooter Collectibles Plan Armada Swindle Themed Targetmaster Partner for Generations Armada Starscream
Armada Starscream is a really well done Generations Deluxe, but one thing he's missing is his original Mini-Con partner, Swindle. MasterShooter Collectibles is working on fixing that, with a figure seemingly codenamed "Hustler" going by the capitalization of the word in the announcement. While not a racecar anymore, Hustler turns into a gun, which is at least just as good. You can also spy an adapter on the Mini-Con port on Starscream's left arm, which will likely let you mount Hustler in place of the traditional Starscream arm-guns. Keep reading to see the photo!

Age of Extinction Dinobots Unleashed Platinum Series 5-Pack Extensive In Hand Photos
Our thanks to Blacklai who has shared more than one hundred photos of the Platinum Edition Dinobots Unleashed set. This set renders Grimlock, Scorn, Slug, Strafe and Slog in decos more in line with the movie's depiction of mostly colorless robot dinosaurs. These figures all feature plenty of chrome and silver paint with hints here and there of other colors in the individual decos.
