While perusing the show floor at NYCC this past weekend I watched a few people try out Just Dance 2015 on stage and one of them looked like he was having so much fun that I just had to talk to him on camera. It turns out, he goes by the name Mo Chocolate and has quite the YouTube following (“The most chocolate flavored channel on YouTube.”) uploading videos of himself playing other Just Dance games and getting into various other hijinks. The dude is even in Just Dance 2015!
Check out the short video below to see me whip out my magic fingers and show Mo Chocolate my nasty moves.
Sergey Safonov's artwork is often stylish, but inspirational? He can claim that now. A Moscow-based stoner rock band called Montezuma's Revenge was inspired by Sergey's Govra character to create an entire EP (called the Govra EP) and partnered with Sergey to create a stylized flash drive called the GovraPod.
The GovraPod itself is designed to look like a cold, granite sarcophagus, and includes the entire EP as its contents. It also comes with all the source files, photos and a poster, and is up for pre-order for US$90 in Sergey's shop.

I got to chat with Ink Whiskey about their Bartendo line of drinking flasks made to look like oldschool Nintendo cartridges. Check it out below.
At NYCC I had the honor and pleasure of chatting with Roc Upchurch (johnnyrocwell on Tumblr. Follow him.) about drawing comics, a deleted scene from issue #7, and he the current statues of the upcoming Rat Queens animated series currently in the works.

The marvelentertainment booth at this year’s newyorkcomiccon was by far my favorite what with all the guest appearances, exclusive merch, and LOTS of awesome giveaways. They also had playable versions of the upcoming fighter Marvel Contest of Champions for iOS and Android. When I first saw it being played on a monitor I actually thought it was a PS3 game - that’s how good it looked. Check it out in the clip below.
3D printing is getting more sophisticated and more accessible to the average consumer by the day. I saw a specialty shop on Newbury St. in Boston (where I live), and I assume that means that they’re opening in other cities as well, charging people to use their 3D printer, and the line was out the […]
