Is it time to Pop! open the Jungle Book? And, um, something Robin Hood
Funko has released some official images of its upcoming Pop! figures from two classic Disney films. The Jungle Book's Mowgli, Shere Khan, and Kaa as well as Robin Hood's Robin Hood, Prince John, and Sir Hiss (no relation to King Hiss) are slated for release this month.
While I can't say that I was a fan of either film as a kid, Prince John, Kaa, Shere Khan, and Sir Hiss (see gallery) are adorable. I'm somewhat less found of the titular Robin Hood, but he still looks pretty neat.
Expect to see these guys on shelves near you in the near future, if they aren't there already. (Especially if you've already bought them. Then you'd just need to look over to see them on the shelves.)

Plymouth Kathy - A Cute Little Thanksgiving Pilgrim Ornament
Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday for counting our blessings and being thankful for all we have. And, Plymouth Kathy is definitely thankful.
In fact, she is so happy her positive attitude carries her all through the harsh winter months and into the spring.
She can handle the harsh New England weather as long as she stays positive. For making it through another harsh winter is definitely something to be thankful for.
And, if Kathy has her health and is surrounded by all the people she loves - well, how can you not be thankful for that.
Everyone knew that coming to America was not going to be easy. Living conditions were tenuous at best and Kathy knew this.
So, she and her family will work hard to make a new life for themselves in New England. A few harsh winters won't destroy their spirit.
In Fact, Plymouth Kathy decided to create a miniature ornament of herself for all New Englander's to make and hang in their homes around Thanksgiving to remind themselves of all they should be thankful for and to remind them that if the early pilgrims could face such adverse conditions in New England and survive, well - so can they.
"Plymouth Kathy" is a 9" pilgrim cloth ornament with an embroidered face. She is wearing fringed bloomers. Her boots are cross-tied and her dress has cuffed sleeves and a pilgrim collar. Her straight wool yarn hair is braided in one long braid down her back and she has bangs to frame her forehead. Her bonnet is lined and tied under her chin. Kathy's apron is fringed and tied around her waist in the back.
Count your blessings! "Plymouth Kathy" certainly counts hers.
Improve your odds of beating the P-1 Grand Prix with Alter's Labrys
Persona fans should be feeling pretty good with how 2014 went down, from the release of The Golden Animation to the announcements/releases of Ultimax, Persona Q, Dancing All Night, and the eventual Persona 5. You can now add Alter's Labrys to the list. Doesn't it feel great to be catered to?
Alter's Labrys recently went up for pre-order for ¥16,800. That's a hefty price for a 1/8-scale figure - I would have loved for this to be 1/6 to match their beautiful Shigenori Soejima Aigis. Her face also looks a bit off to me, but the rest of the figure looks great. You'll also get optional parts to show off her rocket fist feature, and a visor to cover her eyes.
I'm really temped by this one, but that price is a bit too much...

I'm Ryan B. Pilgrim - NEW Pilgrim Ornament E-Pattern and Handmade Ornament
"I'm Ryan B. Pilgrim" is right proud of himself and quite thankful for all he has. He looks forward to Thanksgiving every year, not just for the terrific food, but to enjoy the company of his friends and family. Plus, he gets to do a little more of his favorite activity - hunting. He takes after his Grandfather Karl.
Everyone in the New England community works so hard during the year and tries to remain positive through the harsh New England winters. They all know that they can count on each other and are there to support each other.
Everyone knew that coming to America was not going to be easy. Living conditions were tenuous at best and no one knew this better than the early pilgrim settlers.
In fact, "I'm Ryan B. Pilgrim" also decided to create a miniature ornament of himself for all New Englander's to make and hang in their homes around Thanksgiving to remind themselves of all they should be thankful for and to remind them that if the early pilgrims could face such adverse conditions in New England and survive, well - so can they.
"I'm Ryan B. Pilgrim" is a 9" pilgrim cloth ornament with an embroidered face. He is wearing a fringed pants. His boots are cross-tied and his shirt has cuffed sleeves and a pilgrim collar. His straight wool yarn hair frames his face and his brown felt hat covers the back of his bald head.
Count your blessings! "I'm Ryan B. Pilgrim" certainly counts his.
Linda's How-Do-I Series? How To Create Fast and Easy Paper Ornaments Free E-Book
When my twin granddaughters were young they made their Grandfather and I handmade paper ornaments with their mother. They cut the ornaments out of construction paper and glued glitter all over the front of them. Then they added our names and their names to the back of the ornaments. A hole was created in the top of each and a piece of yarn was used as a hanger. They are some of my favorite ornaments and we still put them on our Christmas tree every year.
So, the "dollies" and I thought you might enjoy making some construction paper ornaments or crayon or fine tipped marker colored ornaments of your own so we created a free e-book for you. You can make the designs using construction paper, print them on heavier paper and color them, or use the design pages as coloring pages. Our e-book contains all 15 of the ornament designs shown below:
The 15 designs shown above are grouped together on four 8 1/2" by 11"pages in our e-book so, if you prefer, you can just download the sheets and use them as coloring pages.
Please Note: Adult supervision is required if you are making any of these ornaments with young children as some of the ornaments require the use of scissors, Elmer’s glue, hot glue, small decorations, and needle & thread.
Construction Paper Ornaments:
Construction Paper - Assorted Colors
Elmer’s Glue
Glitter (Multiple Colors)
DMC Embroidery Floss - White
Cut all the ornaments out of construction paper. Glue glitter to the ornaments as desired with the Elmer’s Glue. For the candy cane ornament glue red glitter in a striped pattern. Write To: and From: on the back and add your name and the recipient’s name. Thread a sewing needle with the white DMC Embroidery floss and insert the needle 1/4” from the top center of each ornament until the DMC Embroidery floss is at least 12” long. Cut the ends of the DMC Embroidery floss and tie the ends in a tight knot.
Crayon or Fine Tipped Marker Colored Ornaments:
Heavier Stock Paper
Crayons or Fine Tip Markers
DMC Embroidery Floss - White
Cut all the ornaments out of the heavier stock paper and (using the printable colored ornaments as a guide) color the decorations for all the ornaments with the fine tip markers.
Coloring Pages
Just print the four design page sheets on regular paper and color with crayons.
