There are an endless number of figma schoolgirls out there (I counted, they're infinite), but they've always lacked a school setting to hang out in. Max Factory is rectifying that now with the figmaPLUS line of display sets.
Two will be available in December: a classroom set and a street set. They'll have a scenic backdrop, some models for various props (unassembled), and some papercraft items to top it all off.
Pre-orders are up now for ¥2,900 each. If you get them, I strongly recommend a pair of model clippers!

Planet Iacon has shared a set of promotional photos for Original Playstation Optimus Prime, the counterpart figure to Mega Drive Megatron. Seen in these photos are detailed looks at the robot mode, the mid state of transformation, and some detail shots of the game console mode, including its dummy memory card and connector array. No sign of this including a prop copy of Crash Bandicoot to match Megatron's Sonic cart, but there's still time! Keep reading to check out the photos.
The Official Transformers YouTube Channel has posted a short video featuring Kreon Optimus Prime and Bumblebee recapping the first three Transformers films, complete with interjections by Megatron and extremely tongue-in-cheek demonstrations of some of the trilogy's most memorable set pieces. If this were Hasbro's stealth pilot for a Kre-O Transformers video game, I'd be intrigued. Keep reading to see the video!

Autobase Aichi has shared a set of images showing off Kabaya's upcoming Swordbot Samurai Team candy toys. Taking a break from obscure and desirable G1 figures, Kabaya is doing their own take on a team from Transformers Go!, the Japan exclusive line that mixed late Beast Hunters molds with new robots.
