Hey Everybody! Look at this fun photo we got from Adam West today! This photo was shot yesterday (Sept. 19th) at Mr. West's 86th Birthday Party Dinner and it looks like he had a nice piece of cake!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY "BATMAN"!!

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE + STAR WARS VII = FUN!

Well, it appears that there is a friendly "Twitter Fight" between the actual movie directors of BATMAN VS SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE (Zack Snyder ) and STAR WARS VII (J.J. Abrams).

The image up above shows a digital photo uploaded by Zack Snyder that was sent to J. J. Abrams, showing a Star Wars Stormtrooper being arrested by the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD).

So, in response, J.J. sent this video of the Original Millennium Falcon that will be in STAR WARS VII, and the camera zooms-in on a "Batman" item!

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha! Let's hope they keep this "war" ongoing more.

Armando's Custom SERIOUS FAN OF BATMAN THEME Dodge Charger!

OK, Here's a pretty cool story that also turned out to be a lot of fun! Awhile back I was hanging out at the Official Facebook Page for the BAT-BLOG BATMAN FAN SITE. While there I was contacted by a guy named Armando. He had sent me a friend request and then later said, "Hey, check out my BATMAN Car!". I did and it's pretty amazing!

Well, he then says something along the lines of, "Hey, I live in Lawton, OK and I have plans to come to Oklahoma City. Do you want to see it in person?" You see, OKC is where I live. "Oh my god, Yes!!", I said, ha!

We ended up meeting around 2:00 pm at a local McDonald's. That's Armando on the left, me on the right. Oh man, this car is even crazier in person! I mean, it's EXTREME!! The first thing you notice is an amazing paint job. My photos don't show it well, but the car is sort of a sparkly-black color. Not quite sure how to explain it. It's a little like metal-flake paint but toned down quite a bit, very subtle. It really looks more like an extremely DEEP black. It has the RED BAT-SYMBOL on each door and RED Pin-Striping all over. A nice tribute to the 1966 Batmobile by George Barris maybe?

The main reason I have so many pics is because I went a little crazy. I mean, almost every inch of this car has a special "Batman" emblem or symbol some place. The attention to detail is insane! But overall it's just a lot of fun. Some of the BATS are just vinyl decals but most of them are custom made pieces that are kind of like "clear-plastic bubbles". Sorry, not a good description but they're very well made, look crafted by hand too, sort of like clear jewels... really really nice!

The 6.4 Liter HEMI Engine is all tricked out and there is even some neon lighting in there. This thing has gotta be crazy cool at night time! Oh man, you know, with color-changing lights shooting out of the front grill. Armando said there was even NEON, under the car, as well.

So, everybody please take the time to look at each photo, all blown-up in large detail (click on them). This car is extremely cool and if you're a serious Batman Fan you're gonna love it!

My favorite touch was the console cabinet inside the car. Just check out those pics and the details... fun stuff!

Thank you Armando for contacting me and showing me your car. I feel like I have made a new friend, Thanks!

I got an iPhone 5 years ago. My old phone had been broken and I was looking for a phone that had a great camera. I went with the iPhone to begin with for the camera and it’s one of the reasons I stay with the brand. I really needed an upgrade though and I… [read more]

TGS Sidequest: Capsule Toy Mysteries

When we buy toys in North America, we usually know what we're getting in exchange for our money. That's less true in Japan, where many vending machines dispense unknown goods (though many are related to gaming). We took a break from covering the Tokyo Game Show to check out some of these unique treasures... though we definitely weren't delighted with all of our purchases. Getting capsule toys is ...

Vivid Encounter Adele Makeda Review

My first of the new FR2 bodied dolls has arrived. I purchased her for the fashion which is beautifully constructed and quite pretty.

The bodice details are perfection and the fabric drapes very nicely. There are no 'cons' to this doll at all....unless one stops to consider whether or not this is Adele. To me, she is not Adele. If she had been manufactured using the Adele 2.0 head mold, I probably would not be selling the nude doll.

Perhaps using this Muse Adele as a comparison is unfair because she was arguably the most gorgeous Adele ever produced. Her dark creamy vinyl, the gorgeous screening and her flocked head are incomparable.

On the other hand, this Adele 3.0 looks dull in every way imaginable.
IT Photo
In looking at my first photo above, it looks like one arm is out of it's socket more than the other.  I wonder if she has a pop-it bead body. That's what I'm calling them.  W Club members were sent a deceitful letter that said in part:
"As many of you who have received the Agnes and Natalia Fatale dolls that are currently shipping may have noticed, the Integrity Toys design team updated the functionality of the female FR body to make it even more versatile and adaptable!
Starting with these two dolls, you will now be able to not only swap the hands at will, but also detach the limbs from the body at the elbows, shoulders, bust line and knees to make dressing the dolls in ultra tight fitting clothes without the need to stretch the fashions and/or run the risk of damaging them! "
How would people have noticed? Does everyone pull the arms and legs off their dolls when they first get them?  Seriously?
I have never had to remove more than hands to dress a doll easily...except when I had to remove a head to take off a necklace Integrity made without an opening big enough for a neck. Perhaps they're planning more of that.
Anyway, they claim that this new change with enable people to get replacement parts more easily. That's ominous depending upon how you look at it.

What made me laugh was this warning:
PLEASE LOOK AT FUTURE PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS TO MAKE SURE THAT THE BODY CAN INDEED BE DISMANTLED BEFORE ATTEMPTING THIS.
Definitely a good suggestion.

And what ever happened to the face switching feature?

Japanese KFC celebrates Colonel Day with fried chicken prizes

Japanese fast food is better than ours. I don't know if that's true of the food (some sure think so), but it's definitely better when it comes to unique and unusual promotions. This seems to be especially true for franchises that originate in the US like McDonald's, Burger King, and Pizza Hut. But I think the king of all of them is KFC, a fast food chain that has sunk itself so deep into Japan that it has become a traditional Christmas feast over there. I guess that's the kind of popularity you need to get people excited over such bizarre prizes.

In honor of the real Colonel Sander's birthday, which would have been September 9, Japanese KFCs are celebrating "Colonel Day" with a number of chicken-themed prizes. Japanese fans simply need to follow KFC on Twitter and use the hashtag “#KFCƒJ[ƒiƒ‹ƒYƒf[” (“KFC Colonel's Day”) by September 24 for a chance to win. Prizes aren't exactly practical, but they sure are great conversation starters.

Prizes are as follows:

  • Fried chicken pillow hat (1 winner)
  • Fried chicken iPhone 5s case (1 winner)
  • Fried chicken mouse (1 winner)
  • Fried chicken keyboard (1 winner)
  • Fried chicken USB drive (1 winner)
  • Fried chicken earrings (47 winners)

Even the chibi Colonel looks to be completely at a loss over how ridiculous these things look! What do you think, should similar giveaways be made available outside of Japan, or are these types of things a little to Japanese to leave their boarders? Incidentally, I'll always remember KFC as one of the first places to promote Pokemon (excuse me, Pokayman) in the US.

Age Of Extinction Digital Watch Gives A Unique Look At Lockdown

Licensed merchandise has always been a rough territory, and Age of Extinction proves no different. A character watch obtained by Transformers Colombia member Edward Jonathan Elizalde proves this quite well, by presenting what would very much like to be the face of Lockdown, but more comes off as a generic robotic skull face with a buzzcut. However, if the novelty of having something vaguely like a Quintesson Death face on your watch is appealing, keep an eye out, as they'll probably find their way to Ebay for years to come! Star Saber Saturday: Striking Super-Robot Saturation!

Hisashi Yuki either wants us to die of longing before March comes around, or is trying to make us sick of Star Saber first. The barrage of photos continues, but even for as many shots of the figure standing in place as come through, I can't help but enjoy seeing them. Though the images we're seeing currently reflect a hand painted sample, being a Masterpiece toy we should expect the final production version to look just as good! For your next regular dose of Star Saber, keep reading!
