FyRyu's first shots at doing Transformers prize figures are actually pretty impressive. Their first figure, Transformers: Age of Extinction Optimus Prime, comes loaded with finely sculpted details, and the type of paint work you only find on high end statues. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on one when it's released in November.
And now we've got our first look at their Bumblebee figure from the same movie. At first I was pretty underwhelmed by the figure. Sure the sculpting is just as nicely detailed as Prime's, but the pose is awkward and he has his normal face and hands without weapons. But then FuRyu surprised me by including extra parts so you can replace Bee's face with his battle mask and his right arm can be replaced with one with a gun. Now that's more like it! His pose looks much better now just by making him battle ready.
I doubt we'll have wait too much longer for some colored photos. I hope they add more figures in the future and not just leave us with Prime and Bee. What I really want is Lockdown, Galvatron, and Grimlock to be made. Bumblebee will be out in December, but being a prize figure you'll have look around to find a pre-order. HLJ did have him, but is currently not taking orders.
Good Smile Company has released an image gallery for its recently unveiled Nendoroid Halloween Miku. Most striking among these images is a rather unexpected display option: a jack-o-lantern mask/face for the diva of all seasons. Anybody who didn't like the vampire fangs on those other faces now has another option.
However, on a more disappointing note, the character apparently isn't a vampire; GSC describes the character as being, "dressed up a cute little devil for Halloween". Wow, buzzkill! Otherwise Halloween Miku comes with an open-mouth face, a smirking face (with one exposed fang), an alternate jack-o-lantern face, that baffling candy cane, and a jack-o-lantern that can be displayed by itself or used as an alternate head for a Nendoroid Petite (as shown with the little Len figure in one of the photos; he's not listed as coming with the figure). Vampire or devil, she's still pretty neat.
Nendoroid Halloween Miku will be on sale for US$45 at a number of American conventions. She was first announced as being on sale at the NY and LA Miku Conventions, but she's apparently making her way to NYCC in October (which makes it even harder to pass her up) and will be at future events as well. If you can't get her there, GSC's online shop will have her available in limited quantities.

Hisashi Yuki is determined to make the next six months as difficult as possible, and has continued tweeting pictures of the color prototype of MP-24 Star Saber. Seen now in its fully combined robot mode, the pictures show off the figure's articulation, including double-handing its sword, and the accessory shield Star Saber will come with.
