New Konatsu figures arrive at Q Pop
Q Pop has a few new Konatsu pieces up in their shop, with one standing out above the others. Of course, there are some new Negora and Migora figures, featuring a calico pattern to them, available. Calico Negora is US$35 and the smaller Calico Migora is US$12.
What's really new, though, is Kyubiros, Konatsu's newest character. Debuting in May at Design Festa in Japan, Kyubiros has made its way state-side before, but not in the bright white-and-gold Hakumenkonmou colorway. That one is US$35 for the nine-tailed fox demon, which I feel almost compelled to pick up being a Konatsu fan. How about you?

Art Storm ES Gokin - Photos of Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime
SD Figures are coming to recreate the famous Double Convoy episode of Transformers Headmasters. TAGHobby reports that Artstorm's ES Gokin line (Which we presume to be smaller than their EX Gokin line) will be releasing figures of Optimus Prime and Rodimus Prime in February and April of 2015, respectively, for the price of 4800 Yen (about $50 US) apiece. Howard the Duck to join Funko's Pop! line
Marvel's quirky off-beat Howard the Duck, star of the 1986 movie of the same name (as well as his own self-titled comic book), will soon join Funko's Pop! line. The figure is based on the character's recent appearance in the smash Summer-hit Guardians of the Galaxy where the Master of Quack-Fu had a minor yet memorable cameo.
The cameo and figure has once again given hope that fans may someday see a non-terrible Howard the Duck movie (or, at least, a bigger role in another Marvel movie).
