Your beverage's resistance to the Borg Ice Cube is futile, and other awesome new DST listings
In space, nobody can hear you scream about Diamond Select Toys' awesome new items in the latest issue of Previews. The selection includes a Borg Ice Cube make, a Rarity vinyl bank, Godzilla Minimates series 2, Buck Rogers Minimates, more Aliens merch, new Kill Bill Minimates, and, well, more.
The coolest selection of the bunch is obviously the Borg Ice Cube silicon tray although, sadly, the Borg Ice Cubes it creates will be assimilated into your drink as they melt instead of being added to the Borg Ice Cube Collective. It won't be a total loss, though, as they should convert your beverage's temperature by some degrees in the process.
The Godzilla Minimates line continues with a second boxset featuring Atomic Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Jet Jaguar, and Hedorah the Smog Monster. The tiny Mechagodzilla is especially adorable. Of course, it's not the only Minimates box set this month as there's the Buck Rogers set (featuring Captain Buck Rogers, Colonel Wilma Deering, Princess Ardala and Tigerman) and the "Masters of Death" Kill Bill 4-pack (featuring Master Pai Mei, Hattori Hanzo and Bill). The Kill Bill set is possibly worth it for Pai Mei alone. I'm just wondering if he'll come with an alternate hand with a torn-out eye.
Other neat items include the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Rarity vinyl bank (the cutest bank seen thus far), an Adam West-series Batmobile bottle opener (designed for your batfridge rather than your utility keychain), and a hatched Xenomorph egg vinyl bank. Other items include a b&w version of the Metaluna Mutant vinyl bank bust, Marvel Retro Captain America Limited Edition Action Figure Box Set, and the Alien Facehugger Metal Bottle Opener.
All of the figures appear to be slated for a March release.

Max Factory's Samurai goes up for pre-order again
I'm guessing quite a few people missed out on Max Factory's Samurai (sometimes called Katanako) the first time if aftermarket prices are any indication. This is a re-color rather than a straight up re-release, but if you still want the figure then now's your chance.
This Samurai still captures all the idiosyncrasies of Miwa Shirow's character design, but brings a little more vibrant color palette. Check out Max Factory's preview for a better look at this sword-wielding lady. She's up for pre-order now for ¥10,000 and is set for a December release.

Expand your fleet with FunnyKnights' Amatsukaze
Actually I don't have anything against KanColle. Just as I'm a fan of Strike Witches, I can't help but to like yet another property featuring moe anthropomorphized versions of military vehicles. However it has been difficult - exhausting, even - to keep up with the endless releases from every company ever.
I don't blame anyone for wanting to cash in on a hot property, but I am getting burned out on KanColle. If you're not burned out, maybe you'll be interested in this Amatsukaze from FunnyKnights/Aoshima. I actually haven't seen this character from other figure makers, so at least she's not overexposed like Shimakaze. You can pre-order now for ¥9,200 and she'll be out in December.

Oliver The Party Clown - New Primitive Clown Doll E-Pattern and Print Pattern
"Oliver The Party Clown!" is one of the members of our NEW "Clown Series" of cloth dolls. They are a fun loving group of various kinds of clown dolls that love to have fun. Love to laugh. And, most of all love to make you laugh. In fact, they're willing to try anything to bring a smile to your face. They'll make fun of themselves. Fall down. Run around. Bump into each other. Even pretend to slap each other - all in the name of "good" fun.
They love to laugh. They love to have fun. But, most of all they love making you laugh. They are all so confident that they can make you laugh that they even have a contest going - to see which clown can make you laugh the most. The winner gets a FREE trip to Clown College.
"Oliver The Party Clown!" is a 15" primitive clown cloth doll. He has a wide body and long skinny arms and legs. His body is made of muslin and his face is embroidered with black satin stitched and white water colored eyes , embroidered nose with orange water coloring, and embroidered mouth with yellow water coloring. His eyelashes are embroidered and his eyebrows are embroidered and dark brown water colored. His cheeks are rosy and blushed.
Oliver has a mass of brown curly yarn hair on the sides of his head with the back left bald. He is wearing his favorite coordinated clown hat on the back of his head. He is wearing his favorite coordinated taupe clown outfit. His taupe print shirt has a solid color center band decorated down the sides with ribbon trim. It has a coordinating and gathered ruffle along the bottom edge and is gathered at the neck. His favorite fringed scarf is wrapped loosely around his neck and tied in a knot in the front. It matches the gathered ruffle along the bottom edge of his shirt. He has a matching ribbon bow just under his neck. He is also wearing his favorite taupe print pants. His pants are a little short and gathered at the waist. His big, black boots are cross-laced and fit his big feet perfectly.
"Oliver The party Clown!" is hoping to win the class at Clown College. His motives for wanting to go to Clown College are entirely different than the rest of the clowns. You see - he doesn't want to hone his clown skills. Nope! He wants to party. He's a party animal. And, where better way to party than at Clown College.

Funko releases Walking Dead Pop! series five
So while fans of The Walking Dead wait for season five to begin in October, Funko is releasing their series five of The Walking Dead Pop! figures. We'll be getting six new figures this time, and none of them are Daryl. Sorry, but there are plenty of other characters who need a Pop!
Thankfully, this series will deliver that, we will get figures of Tyreese, Carol, Hershel, Prison Glenn, Well Walker, and Teddy Bear Girl. Each figure comes holding a cool accessory, and the Well Walker can be pulled apart. Very nice! This series will be available in September.
