Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Good Smile Company girls part 2
Partial nudity and figure collecting go hand in hand. If it makes you uncomfortable, you may want to avoid this gallery. However it makes me very comfortable, so I'll tell you a little about what's going on!
These figures aren't all made by Good Smile Company. The more risque stuff tends to come from GSC's associate companies. Here's the rundown:
- Some Infinite Stratos 2 girls from FREEing: Lingyin Huang, Tatenashi Sarashiki, and Houki Shinonono
- Gift's Vita from Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's
- Yet another Infinite Stratos lady, Charlotte Dunois by Gift
- An original character by Wing who really wants you to check out her butt
- Hana Midorikawa from Prison School, also by Wing (complete with Medusa crotch!)
- Penguin Parade's Celia Aintree from Walkure Romanze
- A pinup-style Devil's Cheerleaders figure by Wing
- Full Metal Daemon Muramasa's Chachamaru Ashikaga (by Wing) makes another appearance
- A couple of gals from Freezing Vibration: Elizabeth Mably and Satellizer el Bridget (both by FREEing)
- The ever-adorable Nyarlathotep, now in a bunny suit by FREEing
- Max Factory's Himeji Castle from Samurai Princess Muramasa (so now apparently castles can be girls too)
- Penguin Parade's Akane Ryuuzouji, also from Walkure Romanze
- Yet another FREEing bunny girl, Origa from Hyakki Yakou
- High School DxD's Rias Gremory, made into an actual stripper by Penguin Parade
- Max Factory's Aoi Sakurai from Rail Wars!
I'll have to say my favorite is Wing's Hana Midorikawa. While Prison School might only appeal to perverts like myself, Hana's scenes are utterly hilarious. I'm glad to see her get a figure! I'm also liking the Nyarlathotep (FREEing finally made a bunny girl that even I like), Himeji Castle, and Aoi Sakurai figures. Which ones tickle your fancy?

Japanese 7-Eleven stores give away two giant Evangelion prizes
Ever wonder what it would look like if NERV was funded by a major international convenient store chain? Probably not, but you're going to find out. 7-Eleven in Japan is working with the Evangelion franchise to produce giant two meter tall Unit 01 figures colored in 7-Eleven green, orange, and red. Best part is fans (only in Japan) don't even have to walk into a store to score one of the two up for grabs. One will be given away to a random person who visits 7-Eleven's Japanese Twitter account and retweets the announcement. The other one simply requires liking their Japanese Facebook page. The giveaway only runs from now to August 11 so fans will want to act fast.
Sounds painless, but if you're a glutton for punishment you could always buy one. 7-Eleven is taking orders until August 31 for anyone crazy dedicated enough to drop ¥1,700,000 (a little more than US$16,600) on their choice of either 7-Eleven colors or normal purple. On the brightside the delivery guy will also put it together, though apparently they want a lot of space to work so I have to wonder if they'd work outdoors.
I certainly wouldn't be against winning one (if I was eligible), but I don't know if there's any character I would pay as much as a car to own a figure of.

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Pulchra
I'm limited by Tomopop's language policy, but please feel free to make all the male anatomy jokes you want about the display base for the Mikasa figure. Unintentional humor is often the best kind after all.
Pulchra's WonFes display consisted mostly of Kantai Collection and Attack on Titan stuff:
- A 1/7-scale Mikasa, which is set for the end of this year
- A 1/7-scale Levi, coming soon
- Inazuma and Ikazuchi from KanColle
- An unpainted Shiranui from KanColle
- Natsumi Bekki from No-Rin
- KanColle's Kagerou
- Tensai Ikkyu from Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin
- OreImo's Kuroneko
- A Kaori Fujimiya PVC teaser from Ishuukan Friends
- Sword Art Online II's Silica and Sinon PVC and smartphone stands, all teased
- No Game No Life's Shiro
- A bunch of KanColle smartphone stands: Naka, Zuihou, Yamato, Akagi, and Shimakaze

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Vertex
So yeah, Persona 3's Yukari is getting a figure. That makes me pretty happy. Thanks, Vertex! They had a few other figures on display at WonFes... some of which I'd like to forget.
- From the folks who brought you Super Sonico, Super Pochaco in a green bikini
- A pair of Monster Hunter Electroys desktop gadgets
- Tart from Tears to Tiara II
- Manaka Komaki from To Heart 2
- Dragon's Crown's Tiki, adorably labeled 1/1 scale
- The Shinji and Kaworu bromance figure you've all been waiting for
- The aforementioned Yukari Takeba
- KanColle's Yuubari
- Mio Naruse from Shinmai Maou no Keiyakusha
- Another Super Pochaco figure that I probably won't like
- A teaser for a new Sonico figure
Once again, the most important thing is: Yukari's getting a figure! Although that Tart figure looks pretty cool too.
