SDCC 2014: Beefy and Co.
I didn't have a chance to see Beefy and Co.'s booth in person, but Brian and Natalie were able to drop by and get some pictures of their neato merchandise. Their exclusives included a limited edition Jade Bad Buddha and a Marvel-themed giclee.

Wonder Festival 2014 Summer: Good Smile Company - Vocaloids
Now that we're seeing more and more creative takes on Vocaloid designs, I'm actually enjoying their presence. It looks like the days of the same boring Miku design being made over and over again are done with.
Good Smile Company and their associated manufacturers had a handful of new Vocaloid figures on display at WonFes. The Red Riding Hood-esque Mikuzukin figure (from Max Factory) got a paint job, and she looks lovely! Also featured: Lily (Oiran ver.) by Phat Company, Miku "Tell Your World ver." by GSC, an unpainted Miku sculpt designed by Risa Ebata (made by Max Factory), and Kagamine Rin and Len Senbonzakura figures by FREEing.

Kanetsugu Naoe Master Samurai Figure by Penguin Parade
Good Smile Company will be distributing the new Kanetsugu Naoe Master Samurai Figure by Penguin Parade (なおえかねつぐますたーさむらい). Kanetsugu Naoe, also known as the ‘Warrior of Love’, is a character from the anime series “Hyakka Ryouran: Samurai Bride”. She is built to 1/8 scale and stands approximately 20cm tall. Sculpted by Biron and painted by Hiroyuki Hirose, the Kanetsugu Naoe PVC figure retails for ¥12,000 and will release in January 2015.
