Two New Zombitron Runs
Anime Expo 2014
SDCC 2014: Yes Anime
If you saw our Yes Anime coverage from Anime Expo, a lot of what was at their booth might look the same. The licensed Trexis are close to release (around September), with a few minor changes to be made to some (for example, the Naruto Trexis will have feet that look more like the actual character designs and less like flat black boots), and those lovable Tiger & Bunny llama plushes are still on the way, too.
But there's plenty of new stuff, too. The Attack on Titan Colossal Titan plushes at their booth are going to be in several sizes, but limited to 500 of each. Yes Anime also had that 1/10-scale Hyper Gokin Ghost Rider from Ezhobi Toys on display, but he was joined by a Hyper Gokin Iron Man Mk. III (whose armor was made to look more real world than the film's designs and thus is bulkier) and a 1/6-scale Harry Potter from Star Ace.
Then there's the Super Armor Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which arrived at SDCC in prototype form. Yes Anime is expecting these to be released later this year toward the holiday season, and the first series will feature the original four Turtles, with Shredder being a build-a-figure piece.
Of course, I also purposely said first series, because there's a possibility for a second series featuring the likes of Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady if everything goes well. Look for some more info on the Super Armor Turtles a little later this fall.

Light up your life with F4F's Samus Light Suit
First 4 Figures' exclusive Samus Light Suit (Metroid Prime: Echoes) statue is now available for pre-order. The 1/4-scale statue stands 20-inches tall and features an array of light-up parts.
The suit, powered by the light of Aether (or maybe just electricity), is sure to dispel the darkness in a room thanks to the numerous light-up elements which include the visor, cannon, four points on the chest, another four on the back, hands, and base. Given that pretty much the whole thing seems to light up, it might make a rather lovely lamp!
First 4 Figures' Light Suit Samus is limited to 750 pieces and can be pre-ordered for US$365 (making it a very expensive lamp...). It's slated for release early next year.
