I decided to try and make some of my seasonal e-patterns FREE.

My problem is that it's so hard for me to decide. Which ones?

I don't know about other designers, but I tend to get very attached to my creations - even the patterns. I suspect other designers do get attached to their creations, too.

It doesn't have to be something that took me forever to create and make. For me it can be something as simple as a pumpkin. Sometimes the simpler - the better!

So, I thought maybe the free e-pattern I would offer would be something just in time for the Fall. And, what could be a better choice for Fall than pumpkins.

LW161 Punkin Ornaments Are We! A Trio Of Ornaments FREE E-Pattern - 2" Pumpkin Ornaments - Pattern Classification - Beginner

Punkin ornaments are a fun group of "crazy guys" to make for the Fall. They are 2" cloth pumpkin ornaments with embroidered faces who just like to hang out just about anywhere. Hang'em up! Stick'em in a bowl of potpourri! Line them up on a shelf or even add them to a fall wreath. I hang some of mine from the door knobs in my kitchen and line others up in a long bowl surrounded by miniature cinnamon pumpkins.

They may be similar in size, but their diversity of color and the position of their embroidered faces make them unique. It's okay to be similar and part of a trio, but they each have there own personality which is reflected in their color and their face. The punkins are happy about that.

For all my pattern creations I usually only make one or at the most two dolls. One is to support the pattern and the other is usually to sell. This was one of the rare times when I did make more than 2.

To view and download my free e-pattern please CLICK HERE. You'll be brought to Google Drive where you can view our free e-pattern in a compressed picture mode. Then just download our free .pdf e-pattern from the File menu in the upper left hand corner. The pictures will be downloaded in full resolution.

Singapore Fangroup Planet Iacon has posted an image of a prototype Optimus Prime figure (or possibly statue) in grayscale with the Thrilling 30 logo superimposed on it. It looks to be a stylized, nontransforming figure, but at this point it's difficult to say. Plus the gas tanks are on the front of his thighs instead of the sides of his legs - what's up with that? Click through to see the photo, and rest assured we will tell you more as soon as we know exactly what this thing is.

Planet Iacon has posted an image of Age of Extinction's Generations Leader Bumblebee on shelves in a Singapore TRU- usually a good sign it's not far off from US stores. This figure is a repaint of the Dark of the Moon Leader Class Bumblebee figure, and is surprisingly lacking in chrome compared to all other Leader-class toys we've seen this year. If you're one of the people who legitimately cannot get enough Bumblebee, keep reading to see the image!

[Update] Pre-orders are now available and listed below! She'll be out in late December for ¥7,200.

Wasn't it just yesterday that we finally got to see the prototype sculpt for Jubilee? Oh yes, it was. In what was just a day, we now have pictures of the painted version and it's pretty much you wanted. Minus sparklers.

I think this turned out just about as good as it could get. The only thing that's slightly disappointing is that there aren't any fireworks shooting from her hands like the sketch had them. Then again, considering how Storm's turned out, I'm kind of okay with that. Back to positives though, which appear to be pretty much everything. There's not a single flaw I can find here and I can't wait until January 2015 is here. Hell, I'll even commit now to buying the inevitable limited long coat convention exclusive version.

You've done well, Shunya. This makes up for Ghostbusters and MIB, I can forgive you now.

    1966 LEGO Batman Project

Sam Gras writes in to us:

Hello, My name is Sam. I’m a Father, Cosplayer, and all around geek. My Four year old daughter is obsessed with Batman and Robin and asked me to make her a LEGO Batmobile that would fit both characters. I made her the iconic 1966 version. The build is on the LEGOIdeas website and has been in the top projects consistently every week. We currently have over 4,000 supporters.

With your help, we can reach our goal of 10K supporters and LEGO will consider producing the set. Below is a link to the build and my Facebook page. Please consider writing an article about the build, this would make an awesome little girl and her father very happy.

This is super rad and I really want those 60’s Batman and Robin figs. Head over to LEGO Ideas to support this project NOW!
