Tomopop Review: S.H. Figuarts Super Mario + Sets A & B
Mario is the figure that so many have wanted a quality representation of. While there have been a few over the years, they did little more than just move arms up and down. Earlier this year, Bandai brought the news that many had waited for, an articulated Mario was on the way. Long rumored, but finally in existence. Not only were we getting Mario, but there's also the expansion parts sets to add more of the Mushroom Kingdom.
How does S.H. Figuarts Mario and accessories sold separately fair? Find out in today's video review!

Funko's fourth SDCC batch is filled with cartoons and violence
So here we are seeing the fourth batch of SDCC exclusive figures from Funko. This time it consist of all Pop! figures. The first two come from the animated movie, Despicable Me 2.
If you loved Dave and Carl in yellow, you’d probably like them even more in purple. Funko has even made new versions of Princess Bubblegum and BMO from Adventure Time. These exclusive versions will glow in the dark!
Now this batch has been too kid-friendly, so Funko had to end it with a little blood. From Pulp Fiction, there will be a blood splattered version of Vincent Vega and Jules. Now we have to wait until next week to see what other exclusives Funko will come out with.

SDCC 2014: Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker 2.0 Sixth Scale Figure
Yesterday, Hot Toys released a preview image of what they are going to be bringing to San Diego Comic-Con, as well as many other international conventions throughout the year. I shared my thoughts on what exclusives Hot Toys would be offering, and boy was I wrong. The Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker 2.0 sixth scale […]

SDCC 2014: Hot Toys Ancient Predator Sixth Scale Figure (Alien vs. Predator)
Hot Toys has announced their second 2014 Toy Fairs exclusive figure, the Hot Toys Ancient Predator sixth scale figure. This marks the second time that Hot Toys has created the Ancient Predator, the last time being their 30th release into the Movie Masterpiece Series, which was actually a ‘model kit’. Like with some of the […]

Upcoming Walgreens-exclusive Boba Fett looks all-white
Walgreens is surprisingly getting yet another exclusive figure, this time in the form of a 6-inch Star Wars Black Series Prototype (white) Boba Fett.
While I'm still baffled by the fact that companies are giving Walgreens all of these exclusives (which includes a Marvel Legends Agent Venom and Funko's Game of Thrones Legacy Collection Tyrion in his Hand of the King outfit), at least I've stopped thinking that these announcements are typos. Given that Boba Fett is the most sought-after figure in Hasbro's Star Wars Black Series figures *and* the outfit is a simple repaint, it's a logical exclusive.
The figure is based on the original concept for Boba Fett which would have made him a super trooper (ie, on the Imperial payroll) rather than the bounty hunter (ie, outside contractor) that we've come to know and love. The design has received a lot of attention in recent years, going from a design that most fans have never even heard of to something at least a few of them own between the 1/6-scale Sideshow Collectibles version of the character and Hasbro's mail-order Vintage series one.
There's no word when he'll be released, but StarWars.com reported something about pre-orders opening at SDCC. I haven't managed to grab the normal Star Wars Black Series Boba Fett yet, but I imagine I'll be keeping an eye out for this version.

SDCC 2014: Hot Toys Python Iron Man Mark 20 Sixth Scale Figure
Since Marvel Studios’ Iron Man 3 hit theaters, Hot Toys has released 13 Iron Man 3 products. Many people criticize the company for focusing too much on Iron Man and not enough on any other big properties, but business is business and Hot Toys is following the money. Clearly the demand is there, even this long […]

Entertainment Earth SDCC 2014 Exclusives [Updated July 2nd]
Last year Entertainment Earth made revealing San Diego Comic-Con exclusives extremely exciting by revealing one per day for several weeks. This year it looks like they have changed it up again, but that certainly doesn’t mean that the Entertainment Earth booth is going to be any less crowded than previous years.
