    WEEKLY COMIC REVIEWS 6.11.2014

Here’s our latest video review featuring comics released on Wednesday, June 11 2014. Gonna’ be completely honest, most of this week’s reads were complete caca and garboski with a few gems sprinkled in. Check out the video below to watch us talk smack on the turds and gush over the good stuff.

As always, comments on these are truly appreciated and you can help our YouTube channel grow by subscribing and clicking that thumbs-up button. It really, really helps.

Also, this show needs a catchy name. Weekly Comic Picks was dumb since it sounds like we’re recommending top picks, so this week I changed it to Weekly Comic Reviews, but that’s sooooo boooooring. I’m torn between Comic Book Casserole because I thought of it while making a casserole the other day, or Comic Book Real Talk because it has sass and we don’t mess around with silly scores, but that just sounds kind of generic.

Whoever comes up with the best name in the comments section wins a prize.

The weibo page for SXS (the people who made R-01 Continuously Variable and the jet pack for MP10 Optimus Prime) have released a new figure image of R-02, a clear homage to the Autobot Blurr that shows this will be an MP scale figure. Unlike the Hasbro Generations Blurr, this toy embraces Blurr's G1 Cybertronian racer mode. Read on to see the figure and compare with MP Sideswipe.

If you were checking out Square-Enix Merchandising's twitter feed last night, you would have spotted two choice images of upcoming Dragon Quest X toys. The first tweet previewed a sleeping Mad Mole plush from the Nakama Monster or Friendly Monster series. I love how it still looks cross even as it naps. Too darling! This beastie is actually already up for pre-order on AmiAmi for ¥2,160, where it is listed as "Suyasuya Itazura Mogura" ("Mogura" is what the monster is called in the Japanese version).

The next tweet depicted a set of two doll-like girl plushes. They are modeled after the characters, Rizerotta and Rukoria. Now, I know who Rizerotta is (white dressed girl on the left) but I must confress that I have no clue about Rukoria. Anybody care to shed some light on this?

Like previous Dragon Quest X plushes, these new toys come with codes that unlock items in-game. For the girls, the codes (unsurprisingly) gift the player a pair of dolls resembling the actual toys. These can be used to decorate your character's house. The Mogura plush will grant you 20 Happy Hearts. I regrettably don't know what those do but I am sure they are very useful. Heck, even if they aren't, I still get the awesome plush so it's still a win in my book.
