Matty Collector's June sale is currently underway
Matty Collector's June 2014 sale is currently underway. This somewhat large-ish sale includes the newly released Masters of the Universe Classic (MOTUC) Extendar (sold out), DC Total Heroes Black Manta, and several prominent older items like the previously club-exclusive Sea Hawk.
There's actually a pretty decent selection this month although the headliners are obviously Extendar (who sold out really quickly), the Total Heroes Black Manta (a pack which contains alternate, unmasked heads for a character whose real face is seldom seen), a first chance for non-subscribers to get Sea Hawk (She-Ra: Princess of Power), and another shot at buying Lord Dactus (who I recall selling out quickly during the monthly sale late last year?). Also up for sale is the Mini Scareglow and Stratos figure pack; although I like the look of these figures (and the concept of a CNC Castle Grayskull), US$20 just seems like too much for mini figures.
The sale also includes another chance to buy King Randor (although you can get him cheaper elsewhere...), DCU Fire, DCU Ice, and MOTUC Icer. The baby Skeletor sold out either during Early Access or was listed prior to the sale.

FUNimation shows first look at DBZ and Black Butler Pop! figures
We already knew Funko was acquiring more anime titles since Toy Fair. They’ve already shown a preview of their Vocaloid series, which should be in stores this month. Now, thanks to FUNimation, we have a preview of Pop! figures from Dragon Ball Z and Black Butler.
Before, we’ve only seen character renderings of these characters, now these are the final results. Available in August, the DBZ series will include Perfect Cell, Final Form Frieza, Vegeta, Super Saiyan Goku, and Piccolo. Available in July, the Black Butler series will include Grell, Sebastian, Undertaker, and Ciel.
Wait, there’s one more thing you should know! The Black Butler Pop! figures will be sold exclusively at Hot Topic, and only be available until November. However, the DBZ figures will be sold everywhere.
