Unmasking of the exclusive Pop! unmasked Deathstroke
Last month we took a look at Funko's upcoming Pop! Deathstroke and, at the time, I noted that there were going to be three versions of the character: a normal deco, a metallic, and an unmasked version. We saw the first two but no images were available for the SDCC exclusive unmasked Deathstroke... until now, that is.
Diamond Comics has posted details about the Previews SDCC-exclusive collectibles which includes a photo of the Pop! unmasked Deathstroke in packaging. Personally I'm a little confused with the unmasked version would be a SDCC exclusive instead of the metallic but, you know, things are what they are. Although a few third-party retailers have sold out their pre-orders (including BBTS), I'm happy to report that he's still available on Entertainment Earth for those who may be interested. Otherwise you could pick him up at SDCC. He's limited to 1,500 pieces.

Gotta Love Fall Dolls
Fall is my favorite season of the year. There's just something about the Fall that makes me want to create something. Maybe it's all the vivid colors or all the holidays and the decorations you can make for all of them.
Whatever it is I LOVE the Fall. So, of course, I love creating dolls with Fall themes, Fall colored clothing, etc.
Here's some of the Fall dolls I created this Spring::

Revoltech’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Emerge from the 2014 Tokyo Toy Show Sewers
The 2014 Tokyo Toy Show is currently underway and Revoltech’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures have emerged from the sewers once again. They first showed off these figures in March of this year with a release date set for this fall. I’ve never really been a big fan of the Teenage Mutant Turtles, though […]

Tomopop Review: Square-Enix's Play Arts Kai Helena Harper
Resident Evil is one of those franchises you'd assume a horror fan would be into, but it's never quite caught on with me. The zombies and assorted monsters are cool, but I've always been turned off by all the convoluted conspiracies (and, at times, also the gameplay). However, I've enjoyed a few of the games and I like many of the character designs like Resident Evil 6's Helena Harper. As such, I was happy to see Square-Enix give the character the Play Arts Kai treatment.

The Perennial Question: To Debox or Not?
I was browsing through a 1996 issue of Barbie Bazaar earlier today and came across this opinion piece written by A. Glenn Mandeville who was the Price Guide Editor.
You can click on the article to bring it up to it's original size which will make it easier to read.
Everything he wrote is still valid today especially the part about enjoying ones dolls. Although his article is directed at Barbie Doll collectors, much of it is applicable to other 1/6 scale doll collectors, namely those who collect Fashion Royalty.
Do you debox?
