It’s pretty sad that Breaking Bad is over and we still don’t have any quality action figures or other toys based on this hot property. Mezco took a crack at creating “action figures”, but they just weren’t enough for many people. Funko has also recently picked up the license and it looks like they are […]

Bluefin Tamashii Nations has released a photo gallery for Bandai's upcoming kinda creepy Chogokin Tower of the Sun Robot (previously seen at

The Tower of the Sun was the somewhat nightmarish symbol of the 1970 World's Fair (or Expo '70) held in Osaka, Japan, and has been made even more frightening by having the whole thing turn into a robot... making me likely to avoid Osaka altogether if I ever visit Japan.

The Chogokin Tower of the Sun Robot can be displayed simply as the Tower of the Sun besides having the ability to having an"Robot Type and [an] Armored Type" transformations; either way, it looks like something straight out of Doctor Who. or a Super Sentei Series.

If you like the design, just be forewarned that it'll have a US$168 list price if ordering domestically (expect Western retailers who previously listed it to drop the price accordingly).

Super7 has sent along a friendly reminder in image form that SDCC is right around the corner and they'll be at the convention once again. Specifically, they'll be at booth #5245 this year with ReAction figures, new colorways of old favorites (and possible some new releases), T-shirts and more.

But if you're not interested in SDCC news, it's almost Lucky Bag season. Yes, Super7's Lucky Bags are back for their 13th anniversary, with small (US$125) and large (US$250) bags available. Small bags have 3 figures and large bags have 6 figures, a mix of big figures, little figures, rare figures and even the occasional new figure. They go on same at noon Pacific (3 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. GMT) on June 13.

You've wanted Zero for a while now. When it was announced that Tamashii Nations was producing Zero from Megaman X, you said that you liked Zero, but you really wanted this Zero. Now that one is actually happening and here are the pictures to prove it.

Appearing today is the latest S.H. Figuarts release, Zero as he appeared in Mega Man Zero. For those who didn't want to fiddle around with the plamo version put out by Kotobukiya, this is the figure that you've waited for. You'll be getting loads of weapons, namely the Z Saber and shield buster effect parts, along with alternate faces. I do have to say that the screaming face does look a bit odd, but it should be fixed by the end. Perhaps the best part of the figure is that the hair will have articulation. It'll be much better than the previous Zero's hair, so that sells me over the fault of the alt face.

As for release info, pre-orders will open up this week. As to when it will be released and for how much, that info isn't available. Think of it as a surprise that you'll do anything for.

The latest Silkstone has been revealed by Mattel. She is Luciana Barbie, a doll shop and Barbie Collector Exclusive.  Retail price is $99.

She is not to my personal taste as I don't care for the huge forehead (or any other part of it.)  The suit with it's peplum jacket and flounced skirt is, once again, overly designed. Add in the boots, the lace gloves, the patterned fabric on top of all that and there's just too much going on. Did I mention the rhinestone buttons on the jacket, the big cuffs and giant pocket flaps, the buttoned up peter pan collar or the gathered shoulders? OMG.
Good designers don't put everything they possibly can into one ensemble and call it fashion...
unless it's in Gone With The Wind.
Even in this frilly dress, there's a control - it's all white. Can you imagine an overall flowery print and this dress? You would go blind.
But I digress. Apparently Robert Best is not at his best this year. Perhaps it's that his doppelganger doll has done so poorly with collectors.

But, if you like this doll - Cherished Friends, the best doll store on earth is carrying her and that's where you should buy it.
Tell Lynn that Terri sent you.
