Make your peace with God Gundam in Robot Damashii form

Way back in the distant past of last month at Tamashii Nations, the world finally saw the debut of Robot Damashii God Gundam. Sure, we're going to get Master Gundam and Master Asia soon enough, but first will be that which was known in America as the Burning Gundam.

God Gundam is billing itself as the most poseable Robot Damashii to date. It's going to be able to do high kicks, Sekiya Tenkyokens, and burn with an awesome power. It's coming with a lot of accessories, including alternate hands and wrist covers for the God/Burning Finger, God Slash beam saber effect parts, and the Ring of Light.

Pre-orders haven't opened yet, but they should be available soon enough. Robot Damashii God Gundam will be out this October for $47.99. At least I know what's going on my birthday list now.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, THERE WAS A REALLY GOOD DICK JOKE ON TV LAST NIGHT

Following up last night’s skull-shattering episode of Game of Thrones (too soon?), Silicon Valley took what I thought was going to be a throw-away line about jerking dudes off and turned it into an absurdly funny bit where a bunch of programmers come up with an algorithm for jerking off 800 dudes in one room. There’s mention of mean jerk time, complimentary shaft angles, and the clever idea of being able to “hot swap dicks in and out, so that on a down stroke you bring a new one in, so on the stroke up, you’re not wasting any energy.”

Okay, now, with all that in mind, take another look at the picture posted above.

I haven’t heard many people talking about this show, but it’s surprisingly pretty good. Sadly, I think the audience that would actually understand why a joke like this is funny is probably too small for the show to stick around longer than three seasons. Hopefully I’m proven wrong.

WEEKLY COMIC PICKS FOR 5-28-2014

Okay, so I’m pretty late in getting this one up. My bad. Life and stuff.

Anyway, this week we talk about Trees #1, Inhuman #2, and Avengers #30. We also do an all new Quick Picks segment featuring C.O.W.L. #1 and Southern Bastards #2.

Check out this week’s (i.e. last week’s) video below.

We got some awesome comic recommendations from you guys on the last episode, so we’ll try and feature at least one in this week’s episode. Which should TOTALLY be up on time this week if I don’t slack like a jerky loser.

In the mean time, go read Matt Fraction’s super ultra amazing Hawkeye. If you think superheroes are dumb, you will love it. If you love superheroes, Hawkeye will become your new favorite. Get the fancy hardcover collecting the first 11 issues HERE or the cheap paperback version with issues 1-5 here.
