RevolMini rolls on with MGS' Cyborg Ninja
If you were hoping for more Metal Gear Solid figures, then I have good news. If you were hoping they'd be back to normal Revoltechs, well, too bad. It is extremely good news that Cyborg Ninja is getting a release, however it will be in the new RevolMini line. At least now Snake will have something to interact with.
Judging by the pictures of the prototype on Hideo Kojima's Twitter, RevolMini Cyborg Ninja only looks to be sacrificing size. It looks to have the same good paint job the previous MGS figures had, not to mention the typical Revoltech articulation.
Perhaps it's just still the mourning of the original Revoltech line, but I can't bring myself to really enjoy the mini aspect. When the prices are in the range of what Revoltechs used to be priced at, it makes you wish that this figure was just its upscaled counterpart, which unfortunately does not exist. This will at least be much cheaper than the previous Play Arts Kai iteration of the disguised Gray Fox. Have to find the positives here.
There's no word yet on release details, though Kojima does state there's still some checks to be made. I don't think it will be too long and we will see the third RevolMini by the end of the summer.

She-Predator Machiko Noguchi to receive Premium Format figure
Sideshow has announced plans to add "She-Predator" Machiko Noguchi to its Premium Format figure line. Noguchi is a human who hunted alongside Predators in the Alien vs Predator comics.
While the character's concept seems out outlandish, the Predator armor looks to be a surprisingly good fit on a female. We don't have many details yet although I'm assuming she'll include an interchangeable unmasked head.
Look for more details when she goes up for pre-order on May 15.

Transformers Generations 2014 Vol 1 Hero X1 New Update Reveal Magazine Contents Details

Amazon Japan have updated the Transformers Generation 2014 Vol.1 with news and details of the book that will be released May 16, 2014. The new edition will include a covers of the "Transformers Lost Age" (Age of Extinction) as well as the Generations and Masterpiece lines. The book will also include a new 5th Anniversary Generations poster, comic by Yuki Oshima and interviews with the people working on the toys and of course Shouki. What's old is new again with Transformers 4 exclusives
Transformers 4: Age of Extinction opens on June 27 and Hasbro has big plans for their official toy launch on "Cybertron Monday" May 12. Part of those plans include a bunch of store exclusives featuring repaints going all the way back in Beast Wars from 1996! They made a lot of surprise choices in this lineup with some stores getting decidedly better selections than others judging from what they've posted on Facebook.
