Tomopop Review: Funko's Pop! Teen Titans Go! Raven
Like many long-running titles, the Teen Titans have undergone some significant revamps over the years. Beginning as a "Junior Justice League" consisting of superhero sidekicks, the title was revamped as The All-New Teen Titans during the 1980s when Raven brought the group together to fight her father, Trigon the Terrible (why's he terrible? Because he doesn't keep up with child support payments). The occasionally controversial mature-themed series would be reinvented as the more kid-friendly Teen Titans cartoon in the early 2000s and subsequently receive its own, more kid-friendly comic (which amusing led children who grew up with that version to be a little shell-shocked by their real comic counterparts).
DC Entertainment brought the Teen Titans back to TV last year with Teen Titans Go!, a more comical series that lampoons both the previous cartoon as well as The All-New Teen Titans comics. The series brought back many of the voice actors and has been successful enough to earn a second season although the series (like its predecessor) isn't necessarily without its critics.
However, you don't have to enjoy the new series to like Funko's Pop! Television Teen Titans Go! figures since the general style of these figures matches the previous cartoon as well. Today we'll be taking a look at my favorite Teen Titan, the ever-snarky Raven.

VTech Introduces Spring Product Line
It's finally time to talk about Playmates' figures for the upcoming TMNT movie
Many images of Playmates' figures for Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film have stealthy made their way across the internet in recent months, either avoiding (or outright ignoring) cease & desist take-down notices from either Bay's powerful Hollywood lawyers or Playmates' own legal representation. However, now that the trailers are out, it seems like the "Iron Lawyer Curtain" is beginning to fall since an increasing number of sites are keeping their stories up which makes this a great time to discuss the figures that we couldn't really talk about before now.
Michael Bay, of course, was previously known for butchering the Transformers franchise with a slew of awful films where each movie somehow managed to raise fans' hopes into believing it might be good only to massively disappoint once again. As such, the news that he'd giving the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles -- another venerable childhood cartoon -- the same treatment was met with, well, let's say understandable apprehension (or we could go with disdain, disgust, anger, etc).
More after the jump.

Why Pre-Ordering Sucks
I have sold off all but three of my Eugenia dolls. I'm hoping that this one is as good as the promo. One good thing about her is that she's on an FR2 body already so I won't need to go a-hunting.
She does have a hair bump which has been cause for concern in the past depending upon the factory employee at the time of the styling. My fingers are crossed for good luck!
