Holy mackerel! Check out the first colored pics of figma Nanase Haruka from Free!

Thanks to Hobby Stock we're getting our first colored look at figma Nanase Haruka from Free! Now, I won't pretend to know anything about Free!, but I do know good figma when I see them. It's my opinion, but I've always thought that Max Factory does the skinny male anime character body type better than Bandai does in S.H. Figuarts. One of the best examples is one of the first figma, Lelouch Lamperouge from Code Geass, which had an amazingly slender body that still holds up seven years later. Getting back to the point, Haruka here is another example of MF doing guys right and even capturing his swimmer's muscle tone perfectly. I'm sure some of the ladies out there appreciate the sculpting more than I do, but it really is well done.

As for the accessories I won't pretend to know what context they're used in, but they are kinda interesting. I assume, but can't say for sure that his goggles can be worn since he also comes with a section of diving platform. I really don't know why his other accessory is an apron, but I'm sure there's a good reason. And for those able to get an order in at Hobby Stock they'll be able to get an exclusive filet of grilled mackerel. Again, I have no idea why, maybe it's a visual metaphor?

He'll be out in September, but we don't yet know what his price will be. Given that he's now being seen in color I'm sure it's only a short matter of time before pre-orders show up with even more photos. HS also announced that the second figma in the Free! line will be Tachibana Makoto so there's something new for fans to get excited for!

X-JAWAS = X-Men x Jawas for #DrawAJawa by TOYSREVILART for #StarWarsDay

MARVEL's mutant powered "X-Men" crossovers with Star Wars' "Jawas", to produce X-JAWAS! It all started with a notion of a pair of metal-clad arms peeking out of desert robes, it led to the clawed scrapper, then the blue-tailed teleporter, followed by the mind-reader (prompting "These are the droids you'e looking for, and want to pay big money for…!") and finally ShadowJawa! (never did finish coloring the last 2). Hope you enjoy them, folks!

Inspired by Frank Miller's "RONIN"graphic novel (visuals and colors ;p), this is my interpretation of a Jawa who has lost his tribe, and refuse to join up with other clans, and has decided to strike out on his own, to exact revenge on wayward and devious cheats on his fellow Jawas, with a salvaged rusty katana and a thirst for vengeance …! *MUAHAHAHAHA*

The basturd offspring of the unholy union of a Jawa and the creature from the Sarlacc Pits, this lil'duder just wants to get by with his salvaging of droids and junk (which he enjoys tremendously, actually), save for the times he desires to "come out for a stretch" of his tentacles! Hard to keep them all under the robe's hood, you know? :)

Tie knots that inspired me to create my own

Now here are three knots that Brad Pitt used at least twice in his lifetime. Personally, I am not a big fan of these knots as I do not think they are any elegance or exotic as the trinity knot. For what is more, they are not as symmetric as let’s say the truelove knot. […]

The first time I saw coloring page wallpaper, I nearly fell out of my chair. Forget the kids’ room, I wanted the chance to color my own masterpiece anywhere in my home. I still feel that way – especially with some of the floral options from Spoonflower. Spoonflower is known for it’s custom prints of […]

Fuller working on a trio of Iron Man Munnys

Fuller Designs' newest work appears to be a trio of 8-inch Iron Man Munnys, as evidenced by this photo he recently posted to Instagram. More specifically, it's two War Machines and a Mark VII Iron Man suit, photographed alongside a custom Jon-Paul Kaiser Dunny that he's also working on.

I always find it interesting to see how the creative process goes for each artist; I'm wondering how the final product will end up turning out and just how much more Fuller is still planning to put into these Munnys. I can see a peek of his War Machine illustration out on the edge, and it looks like we've got a lot of shading to go, plus at least one shoulder-mounted Gatling gun!
