    SIMPSONS LEGO MINIFIGURES REVEALED

Lego already released a $255 Simpsons House, but this coming May, they’ll be releasing a series of 16 Lego Simpsons figures to go along with it! The set drops May 1st with each figure being sold for $3.99 (most likely blind-packaged), just in time for the May 4th episode “Brick Like Me” which sees Springfield and all its residents turned into Lego bricks.

Now comes the hard part: resisting the urge to buy an entire case of these.

Diamond Select Toys has announced its plans for  the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2), which consist of a booth (#713) and two panels.

The first panel, which focuses on the Minimates line, will be held on Saturday, April 26, from 11:15am to 12:15pm, in Room #S401CD. Diamond Select Toys President Chuck Terceira, Marketing Supervisor Zach Oat, and prototype painter Jeff Stephens will be on hand to discuss what's coming up for the line in 2014 (which now includes mini-figures based on Tarentino films, Godzilla, Aliens, and more). The panel will include a Q&A as well as a prize drawing at the end.

As always, the second panel (also taking place on Saturday, but from 3:00pm-4:00pm, Room #S401CD) will cover everything else "from 7-inch Select action figures to electronic vehicles to role-play items to vinyl banks". Panelists will include Chuck Terceira, Zach Oat, and EMCE Toys co-founder Paul "Dr. Mego" Clarke. A brand new product line will apparently be announced at the event which will also close with a Q&A and another prize drawing.

Yukari of Flat Bonnie shared with us some exciting news for WonderCon attendees. That's right; it's the unveiling of her con-exclusive plushes! Flat Bonnie's booth #1570 will have two exclusive toys plus a perfectly precious Tiger Cub will make its public debut at the convention. Let's talk about the con-exclusive plushes first. Last WonderCon's Shelbun plush, a bunny-fied version of Big Bang Theory's Dr. Sheldon Cooper, was such a hit that he is making a return appearance, this time in two different color ways. Attendees can choose between last year's "The Flash" design (edition size of 25 pieces) or a brand-new "Green Lantern" one (edition size of 15 pieces). Both versions are 12 inches-tall and feature a special WonderCon tushtag and hangtag. Each plush will cost US$25.

As mentioned previously, the Tiger Cubs are not exclusive WonderCon but the con will be the first place to get them. Yukari will have about seven of the plushes at her booth, with each of the felines costing US$40.
