Megahouse's Tieria Erde goes undercover for exposing previews
I never thought that this would be an actual figure, but here it is. From the plot twist of an episode of Gundam 00 comes the RAHDXG.A.Neo Tieria Erde by Megahouse. While it's not the usual appearance of Tieria, it's certainly a welcome version of the character, albeit a short-lived one.
When it was released in preview scans last month, you guys seemed to enjoy it. Granted the context of the episode, the pose without the gun doesn't interest me all that much. I'm a context kind of guy. Nevertheless, Megahouse has done a pretty good job with Tierra and I'm looking forward to it. There's just one bothering me with it and that's the rather large fingers. They are better wrapped around a gun, but perhaps it'll be fixed before the release. With these prototype shots in hand though, we should be getting some release and pre-order info later this Spring.
Tieria was the winner of the 10th Anniversary poll, so I'm glad that they're listening and turned out a prototype fairly quick. However, I'm just sad that we're not getting males that aren't from SEED. I was hoping for some more Char or even Wing boys, but hopefully with Tierra leading off for 00, maybe we'll get some Setsuna or Lockon soon. A Sumeragi would be fine too.

This preview should make you feel pretty good about Kotobukiya's Eren Yeager
It's always great when a figure captures some of a character's personality. For Attack on Titan's Eren Yeager, that personality mostly consists of rage and combativeness. Kotobukiya's figure does a fine job showing Eren doing his thing.
I love the dynamic pose, his determined expression, and the use of the tree stump as a base. The paint and detailing look spot-on as well. Amiami has a large preview gallery showing Eren from all angles and showing the removable cape. If you have him on order, looks like you won't be regretting it!

Life size LEGO Hatsune Miku is a brick house
Once again a LEGO builder does something cool and unexpected with the little blocks. This time it's Japanese builder ChaosBrick that impresses with a life size replica of Hatsune Miku made entirely out of LEGO bricks. Rather than starting from the top he worked from the ground up beginning with her legs. The head was smartly made by blowing up a drawing of Miku's face to life size and building over it. The comment about being a brick house isn't just a clever music reference, at one point she has a LEGO mini figure living inside her head.
He started the project as early as August of last year and just wrapped up on April 14, taking over eight months to complete. I really like the way she turned out, she has a sort of 32-bit appeal to her. Her twin tails are a bit shorter than I'd normally like, but the attention to detail is still very good considering what she's made of. The little bit of finger articulation was a nice choice. And then there's the LEGO shimapan (striped panties for the uninitiated) under her skirt.
You can see several shots of the build in progress from beginning to end in our gallery or see it all right on ChaosBrick's Twitter account linked above.

Dinosaurs Eggs with Mini Toy Dinosaur Figures Inside
Dinosaurs Eggs with Mini Toy Dinosaur Figures Inside - These dinos are adorable. I bought them for my sensory bin as I am a special education teacher and they are so cute. The eggs are bright colors and have bumpy texture on the outside. My 2 year old son also loves them and has such a smile when he pops open the eggs and finds a little baby Dino inside :0) -- By Jessica OrrDinosaurs Eggs with Mini Toy Dinosaur Figures Inside - I bought a lot of small party-favor/carnival type toys on Amazon and this was definitely one of the best values. It's a hard shell- much more durable than Easter eggs, which separates quite easily. The little dinosaur inside is surprisingly well detailed for the price. I think kids see this as offering more than other toys in the same price range. -- By T. Lysaght
