Squink! has been quiet since the end of 2013, mostly because he's been catching up on commissioned work the whole time, but ToyCon UK is bringing out some new work from him. Specifically, it's a resin piece called My Final Breath, debuting on April 12 at the event. It's a different look than a lot of his customs and past pieces, in part because it feels more like a display piece, something you might put on a shelf on its own rather than with other designer toys.
He'll have an assortment of handpainted one-off customs at ToyCon, as well as clear and tinted colorways of My Final Breath at his booth. The leftovers from the show will be in his shop on April 14.
The offiical Transformers Cloud Guardians Of Time has been updated with the newest story 6 that seems to get more interesting with the reveal of strange fembot that goes by the name of SARA. The green haired robo-vixen is quite interesting with a humanoid head that has a green gem in her forehead and a robot body. We also see Shockwave coming into the picture. So it turns out the DX9 is the name of the designer. He designed the Sharkies, Soundmixer and Maniaking for Unique Toys, and is making Salmoore. A homage to the Cy-Kill character. In a bit of a shocking move, the Botcon website has revealed that not only is a G1-flavored recolor of Energon Scorponok the 4th boxset toy for this year, but they've also made it a functioning Headmaster! While up to this point everyone believed that the previous reveal of Devcon would mark the main must-have figure from the set, it's probably safe to say that's been blown away by today's news.
