The Nendoroid Attack on Titan characters aren't my favorite, but that's not the point of Nendos, is it? Kahotan has posted another great preview for Nendoroid Eren Yeager, with guest appearances by Nendoroid Mikasa and the Colossal Titan.

Nendoroid Eren comes with a pretty good number of accessories, including his maneuver gear and various effect pieces. Kahotan also demonstrates a way to turn the box liner into a makeshift backdrop (there's a special accessory for the stand that holds it up). I also like the little bloody hand part for showing Eren about to use his ability.

He'll be out later this month. Hopefully the weather's improved enough where your living for some Survey Corps operations!

Christopher Avalos (Evilos) has taken his quest to get his Rainy Day Antagonist - DIY resin toy to Kickstarter. Here's how he describes the project. Titanfall is trying to make mech-based games cool again, and a merchandising agreement with Threezero is a pretty good start. They've announced via Facebook that they're working on an Atlas figure.

There's no release timeline, but Threezero has revealed some details. The figure will be an incredible 20" tall! It will also be articulated, and have an opening cockpit. A pilot will indeed be included, which is nice because I'm guessing this package will cost a pretty penny.

Colonial Prudence and her brother, Colonial Madis, just love living in New England during the colonial times and love telling everyone they are from Plymouth, Massachusetts.

They are right proud to tell everyone that their grandmother and grandfather came over on the "Mayflower" and that all the members of their family belong to the "Mayflower Society" which is an exclusive club of colonists.

Life during the 1st year their grandparents arrived was difficult at best and many, many of their grandparents friends did not survive. They were lucky, and their grandparents did. For that "Colonial Prudence" and her brother, "Colonial Madis" are forever grateful.

The Fall is their favorite time of the year and during this season in New England their thoughts turn towards their grandparents, the 1st Thanksgiving in Plymouth, and what life must have been life for the first colonists.

Neither "Colonial Prudence" or "Colonial Madis" have any delusions as to how difficult it was. They have been hearing about it their whole life from their parents. They can probably recite the story line by line. In fact, Colonial Madis does from time to time when he and Colonial Prudence are alone.

Colonial Prudence is too well mannered and well behaved to ever push that envelope too far with her parents. She is every bit the respectful daughter.

Colonial Madis, on the other hand, does test them and sometimes their parents get a wee bit annoyed. Then Colonial Madis flashes his folks that charming smile of his and, well, all is usually forgotten. He can charm the pants off his mother and father.

"Colonial Prudence" is a 16" Colonial cloth doll with an embroidered face. She has button eyes, a raised nose, and blushed cheeks. The inside of her mouth is colored rose. Her boots are cross-tied and painted black. She is wearing gathered bloomers.

The front bodice of her dress has three layers of lace trim with the center layer being pearls & lace. Her colonial dress has lace trimmed sleeve, a lace trimmed neck edge, and lace trimmed bottom.

The apron that is tied around her waist is lace trimmed and tied around her waist in the back. She has a mass of curly brown hair which is barely controlled under her colonial bonnet, which is also lace trimmed and lined.

Colonial Prudence is ever mindful of her family reputation and standing in the community and has her hands full keeping her brother, Colonial Madis, in line.

However, she also has a secret weapon in her charming smile and knows that when she gives her brother a certain glance and then a certain smile that he knows enough to behave himself.

"Colonial Madis" is a 15" Colonial cloth doll with an embroidered face. He has button eyes, a raised nose, and blushed cheeks. The inside of his mouth is colored rose. His boots are cross-tied and painted black and he's sporting white knee socks.

Colonial Madis is wearing a linen shirt with a matching linen and lace trimmed ascot. He has a flannel vest tied in 3 places with DMC Embroidery floss. His pantaloons are gathered and cuffed and match his lined jacket. His lined jacket has front inserts, front and back tails, and is top stitched along the edges. Three buttons are sewn to the front inserts of his lined jacket.

Colonial Madis has straight brown hair along the side seams of his head with the back of his head left bald.

Colonial Madis really is mindful of his family's reputation despite what his sister, Colonial Prudence says. After all, one day he will be the head of the family and will need to carry on the family name with pride. His grandparents worked too hard and sacrificed too much for him not to be mindful of that.

Junko Mizuno designed 12 "animal" characters featuring the 2014 Chinese Zodiac for Swarovski, with the name of the collection being “The Lovlots Zodiac”. And while this is hardly "toy", and veer absolutely toward a specific genre of collectibles not known to be in this blog, they look too precious (pun intended ;p) not to feature!

Released in late 2013 and the last six signs in January 2014, each piece is about 3.5 cm high "and were made of crystal in different colors for each sign, the eyes are made of Jet crystal and each character has a decorative floral print, a recurring pattern in the works of the artist."

Check out nonsoloKawaii for more images (including their backs) and search for Swarovski outlets online here. No info about the cost of the figures tho.

It’s nice that Tomy Takara (the diecast company with the CARS license in Japan – 1:64 scale) offers up diecasts with separate headsets. I guess in the US they are afraid kids might eat them but they’re not any smaller than the glasses or tires offered as accessories so I’m not sure why you wouldn’t […]
