We've known about her even since she emerged at WonFes, and she popped up for a very quick cameo in Kahotan's preview of Ryuko. Now though we've got our first full-on look at the painted version of Nendoroid Mako, courtesy of Good Smile Company's newest NicoNico broadcast.
Though it's no surprise to see Mako done up in her finest, this shot does confirm a few things. We've got her trademark index finger gesture, and also the inclusion of the Mankanshoku family dog Guts, complete with hoody and plate of food. That's a cool bonus for a character who might have been a little light on them otherwise. More Mako as soon as further details emerge.

In the same stream where we got a look at Nendoroid Mako, the fine people over at Good Smile Company bought in their Max Factory compatriots for a quick preview of figma Ryuko, who I'd suspect is pretty close to opening for orders. We get to see some nice all-around shots and a hilariously over-the-top shouting face that's very much in character. There's also a look at an additional accessory, her Scissor Blade in extended 'decapitation mode'.
At the end of the segment, the team also showed off a MYSTERY SILHOUETTE teasing what's coming next. You don't need to be a rocket scientist to work it out - that exceptionally round head all but confirms figma Mako Mankanshoku is on her way. You could never separate these two after all.

Thanks so much to everyone who entered this month's Tomopop Micropixel contest. The theme was Girl Power, so the focus was all on female figures. I loved every submission, so it was really hard to pick a winner.

Alex Milne has posted to his DeviantArt page his original design for Arcee's new body that debuted in Chapter 10 of Dark Cybertron. Of particular interest with this is Milne's own note that he has not even seen the upcoming Arcee toy, and instead based this new form on early stage concept art that the toy itself might be developed from. So it looks like the comic may not have been our sneak peek in to the highly anticipated Arcee quite as much as we thought! Keep reading to see the image!
